Administrators websmile Posted October 11, 2015 Administrators Posted October 11, 2015 Maybe main difference is trcd/rtp, if mems are on the edge of limits you can sometimes (and need to do) force them to pass tests at limit regions. Quote
aerotracks Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 (edited) My bets are that I own a reject - I've tried "persuading" it with voltage, but it won't budge The other stick does much better with tRCD+tRP. Can't afford binning these, so it is what it is. Edited October 11, 2015 by aerotracks Quote

Nick updates bios quite regularly on XS OCf thread,I think the 144c is the one he posted recently, is great choice to start with.I haven't used it my self because im little slack but yeah that one be fine, board is great to use just use one of nick profile to get you started,xtu,32m and memory profiles @Doug2507 just start of with Nicks memory profile in bios that splave and loud would of also tested before release of the board, they are great to get you started Quote
Doug2507 Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 (edited) May as well chime in as i'll be 'rocking' it tomorrow. (taxi.. ) 3600c11, 4 sticks. Still need to sort RTL/IOL's. RTL/IOL done. (near enough). Time for a play with all the funky timings. Edited October 14, 2015 by Doug2507 Quote
Alex@ro Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Took the board for a ride with trident-z E-die,achieved: DDR4-4000 15-20-20-28-1T 1.65V DDR4-4000 14-20-20-28-1T 1.65V(weird C14 and C15 same volts also no perf increase) DDR4-4000 13-20-20-28-1T 1.75V DDr4-4000 12-20-20-28-1T 1.95V Quote
phobosq Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 CL12 slower than CL13/14, is it due to looser seconds/thirds? Quote
TaPaKaH Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 (edited) On Skylake 32M times can vary by more than 5 seconds without you touching any of the settings. So I wouldn't refer to 32M times as a sort of reliable performance comparison. (weird C14 and C15 same volts also no perf increase)Have you tried raising tRCD/tRP to 21 or 22?From my experience on E-die, tRCD and tRP responds to voltage far more than what we've seen on any generation of Samsung, DDR3 or DDR4. Alex@ro Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 CL12 slower than CL13/14, is it due to looser seconds/thirds? No,second/thirds same. This were just test runs, aiming for stability testing, for a proper testing xp with waza is required, altough variation is there too... Quote

I tried the lowest value for performance purposes,i noticed the same thing too tough, going looser would imply lower voltage Quote
Guest Bullant Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 @Alex@ro are those gskill E-die memory's scalling pass 1.95v? Was 1.95v it or will they keep scalling to 2.1v ? You dont need to try and kill them for me ahah just want to know if 1.95v was it Quote
Alex@ro Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Yes,1.95 on MM,will trynhigher for sure pnce i have backup kit Quote
TaPaKaH Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 My kit scales up to 2.2V on air. More I can't set in board's BIOS. Quote
