Also similar vein, if I somehow get a 9900k or 5960x/6950x working with ddr3 those are allowed in the less specific stages? Edited July 23, 2019 by yosarianilives Quote

You might be able to, but only for the iGPU stage (are there Xeons with iGPUs?) or the Dogpile stage. Edited July 23, 2019 by Noxinite Quote

yosarianilives Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 Also secondary note, are we allowing broadwell igp? I could see arguments both directions, personally since we're already allowing s1150 haswell cpus we should allow broadwell, however it would basically just be a broadwell competition then. Quote
Crew Leeghoofd Posted July 23, 2019 Author Crew Posted July 23, 2019 (edited) and for that reason it mentions sandy.ivy and haswell, no Broadwell for that stage, I'll exclude the 1151(v2) and 2011-3 from DDR3 Edited July 23, 2019 by Leeghoofd 1 1 Quote
gtxx58 Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 Max 32m stable ddr2 frequency Would be fun too, or something like that Quote

Cause now it's just gonna a haswell comp (4770k+4770r+4980hq), I feel like if we're trying to avoid people complaining about needing "rare" 5775c then we should make sure that it's not about the even "rarer" dual pcb mobile chips on s1150. No Iris Pro IGPUs,, only Sandy/Ivy and Haswell onboard graphics... anyway it's not about the CPU you use but the onboard iGPU, I thought the 4770 and 4770K both have HD4600 right? No mobile chips in the stages either... desktop only , for dogpile feel free Edited July 23, 2019 by Leeghoofd Quote

Iris pro igp is on die, however there are none with cpu socket of 1150. So if you specify lga 1150+1155 no broadwell then that will work, otherwise if it's purely by arch we will see 4980hq running on m7i as a god tier igp compared to all else. 1 Quote

Only use processors using socket LGA1150, LGA1155 socket. A VALID Futuremark verification link is required (latest Systeminfo required) No discrete GPUs allowed Only use processors based on the Sandy/Ivy Bridge or Haswell architecture Edited July 23, 2019 by Leeghoofd Quote

Noxinite Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 Just one more check @Leeghoofd; for the reference clock stage how are the three scores split up? Different motherboard, different socket, different chipset, etc.? Quote
Crew Leeghoofd Posted July 23, 2019 Author Crew Posted July 23, 2019 (edited) @Noxinite Configured by socket, so you need 3 different sockets .... 20 minutes ago, avalanche said: Holy shit That's only a week ... better start shopping Maybe some will understand now why I didn't specify too many limitations.... Guest Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 There's alot to do in this comp ... not so much new parts either. So a team is going to need bust out those old parts that are hoarded. Oh this will be fun scrambling Quote

Crew Leeghoofd Posted July 23, 2019 Author Crew Posted July 23, 2019 K guys give me heads up if something still needs to be clarified, as usual expect some minor configuration woes at start ? 2 1 Quote
yosarianilives Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 Was it the intent to allow pascal titans here? https://oc-esports.io/#!/round/team_cup_2019_ddr4/4720/superposition_1080p_extreme Quote
