chispy Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 Gents the xp image i provided is bone stock xp 32bit bootable and works great on the board, easy installation no problems at all. Just make sure you use the ASmedia sata controller and in the bios select xp compatibility + set third party sata controllers as ide. That's all you need to install xp , easy peasy out of the box support for xp works great. The board is really fast in 2d , SuperPi 32m it flies ...? 4 Quote

Retail 11900K on aio, memory air 4400c17 at 4800c14 G.Skill Royal 4400C16 at 4800C14 G.Skill 3600C14 at 5000C14, IMC could not keep up with the load at 5214 C15-14 at 5277 c15-14 direct boot Cinebench More to follow, I still have some screens on HDD. 5333c15 posts but fails win enter, seems more of imc than memory issue 4 Quote
chispy Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 (edited) I spent all weekend testing nothing but 3D on the board with a 11900k and tested with all kinds of GPUs latest high end to oldest legacy gpus - ( from rx 6900xt / rtx 3090 to legacy gtx 580 / amd 6970. Legacy benchmarks fly on this set up ( Aqm , heaven , 3dmarks , 01 , 03 , 11 ) ( also fastest plattform for the new Port Royal bench ) , is a must have as it is the fastest plattform for it to date. Pretty sure it's going to end up at $599 like the APEX but who knows, heard they wanted much lower price but kinda got carried away with the best hardware ? I stopped the insanity of the APE XII after a lot of "fun" with RKL. Well when it decided to try and fry my only working nice OC Panel the other day.
