zeropluszero Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Looks like I have a bright future with SCO₂! I know dat feel. Quote
Slaughter Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 I'm going to bring this thread back up. CAD$3.5 / L LN2 is the best I can find in Toronto (although have a potential lead on another supplier thanks to another bencher) CAD$1 / lb DICE I've been whining about these prices for a while but after seeing what some of you guys overseas are paying, I think I'll shut up now. Crew Trouffman Posted July 25, 2014 Crew Posted July 25, 2014 Even in Montréal its expensibe.. about 5$/l... with small qua tity. But once you go avove 50l the price drop (not the same ditri).. Cost basically the same for 50l or 180l, its just not the same appro workflow and restrictio n (cannot bring a 180l dewar to my home for example.) Quote
Hillguy Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 The best quote I can find is $7 / L here in Newfoundland ( I thought they were pulling my leg ) but $5 in Montreal ?? I guess they were serious .. Oh well winter is coming :-) Quote
Crew Vivi Posted August 13, 2014 Crew Posted August 13, 2014 $7 a liter!! WOW! 1.7$ a liter in south africa, not bad! Quote
saint19 Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Wow...expensive... I get a 20L + deward for $50 Quote
ObscureParadox Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 I get my LN2 for about £1.20 a liter including taxes. Quote
dhenzjhen Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 (edited) Found a new awesome ln2 supplier close to my area. But I have to buy in big quantity in order for the price to go down. So, I made a deal with them that I'll get 160L but I have to come and pick it up 60L partial every time I need ln2 and they are ok with it . So now I'm paying 160L for $133 out of the door way way cheaper compared to if I go and fill my 2 30L tanks they would charge me for $60 just to fill my 1 30L tank. Thanks to Nitro-Derm :ws: and bye bye airgas ($1.60/L) Edited August 14, 2014 by dhenzjhen Quote
Crew pro Posted August 15, 2014 Crew Posted August 15, 2014 we are $2.20 a litre for the most part, 180L PLV for a week is around $360USD Quote
l0ud_sil3nc3 Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 $0.85c per liter if I buy a 230L, so can't complain to much, but what upset's me is Airgas is a coast to coast chain in the US and their rates are all over the place. Lowest I have seen is $0.40c per liter to as much as $7.00 per liter such a sliding scale depending on how much you negotiate your rate. Quote
steponz Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Yeah.. they suck royally. . I finally convince my guy to give me 30 liters for $42. Was costing me $84.. Used to get 160 for $120... Quote
steponz Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 We should all get together and do a national rate if we can... Quote
CL3P20 Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Airgas won't authorize a "nation wide" account..they will for a business.. but rates would still be subject to change locally. So ultimately, the prices would fluctuate in each state/county you ordered from.. *already tried.. Quote
zeropluszero Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 we are $2.20 a litre for the most part, 180L PLV for a week is around $360USD I was stoked to talk down to $3 delivered. w/ 50lt tank Quote

USA is reach country and hardware and LN cost there less then in poor country like Ukraine. If vompare average salary in USA and Ukraine it gets more cheaper I would rather say extremely cheap as for me. Quote
Mikecdm Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 I've been paying just under $65 for 90L after taxes and fees. Quote
MetalRacer Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 I've been paying just under $65 for 90L after taxes and fees. Airgas in Dallas are charging me $2.00L to fill my 35L tank. Where are you getting yours from Mikecdm? Quote
Mikecdm Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 I go to FT. Worth Welders supply. Normal price is $1/L, but I've been going for a few years and negotiated a better price. No hazmat fees either. I did see something about an Air Liquide, but I never looked into it much. I had a place about 5 minutes from the house that charged me about $1.25/L, but then they changed things up and tried to charge me $3/L. Shame having people live so close that share the same hobby and never getting together. Quote
micul Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 I am paying 3$ in Toronto area , Canada . This was the cheapest place , I was receiving up to 10$/L when I was looking . Quote
benchmark.kz Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 In Kazakhstan LN2 costs about 2.5$ per liter. Avg salary is about $500 Quote
