How many people would be interested in signing up for an LN2 program that would rate LN2 at, let's say, €0.5 and LN2+dewar delivery at €1.

The more people who'd use that service, the higher the LN2 volume they sell, the lower we can push the price.

would this "contract" work for all e.g. linde ln2 suppliers in europe?

if yes, how about the conditions?

would i have to buy a minimum amount of liters a month/year?

Well, I haven't got any real details yet, just set the first meeting to see if something can be done about it.

Ideally:

- yes, would for all Linde group suppliers

- contract would have a minimum amount of LN2 required (volume needs to be high enough to justify better pricing)

We'll see ... first let's have the meeting :).

I got an 18% rebate on a 100 liter/month deal from Linde/AGA. If you can hook a badass deal up, I'm in for sure. With all the people here, I'm pretty sure we could easily count 1000+ liters a month.

If I can help somehow, let me know.

Fired an email to Linde as well. Don't really have a contact over there, so it might take a while.

Could you call up your contact maybe? Check if he might know the people I'd need to talk to?

I'm interested :) If you can get BOC to supply for 50 cents/ L + delivery, i'd give you a round of applause. Their default is £4/L + delivery. BOC don't wanna know about small-time users and deliberately price them out.

My contact is awesome. I've been trying to get hold of her three times to have my invoice adjusted (nothing is according to my contract), apparently she senses that and doesn't pick up the phone. :D

I'll check though.

EDIT: Okay, I checked with her now. First good news is that my invoice is adjusted according to my deal. The second, more relevant, piece of news is that she's checking for someone at Linde HQ who can set up some sort of deal, she'd get back to me ASAP.

I've also been talking about a special contract for the Swiss overclocking guys. Pangas, which is part of the Linde Group, as Chris pointed out several times, has a discount plan. And it starts to get really interesting if you can committ to take 25'000 liters LN2 or more per year.

So if you negotiate with them make sure that you overexaggerate ;) I would tell them all overclockers in Europe might need 50'000 to 100'000 liters LN2 per year or so and then lets give it a try for one year. After that first year there could be further negotiations.

From the looks of it, Linde might be the best option. I just don't know if there's a discount plan that covers all Linde Group distributors. I reckon every distri probably has their own plan.

Well, we'll just have to wait and see what the reply is.
