I have now tested two different boards and two different chips subzero with my NB frozen. Both chips had the exact same wall at 670.6 FSB and from searching around, it seems like quite a few oth…

This is the i7 5775c/i5 5675c discussion thread. The I7 5775c/i5 5675c are cpus for Z97 with a bit better gaming performance than the i7 7700k if overclocked. Review Here It's a good upgrade if still on Z97 without having to upgrade motherboard and ram to ddr4. It's a low power cpu easy to overclock to 4.1/4.2 Ghz.The only problem ram overclocking is a bit hard,ddr3 2400mhz with tight timings is the sweet spot, going over 2400mhz you can end up loosing pci-e lanes and get worse gpu performance (depends by the motherboard),i managed to get 2666 working on the z97m ocf but will increase latency and lowering the timings won't change that much and won't bo…

Is this board really so weak compared to Gigabyte and Biostar in terms of fsb overclocking or is it just shadowed by REX being almost as expensive?

Has anyone tried running E7 Xeons on regular Dual Socket 2011 boards that support E5? Looking at things like E7-4890v2, but I don't have the funds for the huge quad socket boards. I assume it won't work, but if anyone has experience, please let me know.

I bought a R3e BE some time ago from a gamer just to be sure it wasn’t abused . I tested it when i got it,everything seemed fine so i put it back in the closet . Months later i installed it and when i pressed Power button it had no reaction, only the Led was on but nothing was happening. Whatever i tryed it remained in this state. Recently i saw Derbauer washing the boards and dry them after so i did tge same and it wirked, the board was booting but only sometimes i got the chance to go into bios. Basically ,if i press clr cmos and power buton many times, eventually it is gonna take it boot in bios and after windows. I can restart it and boot again window…

I remember back in the day, sometimes I would receive motherboards in brown cardboard boxes meant for mobos that came with no accessories, just the board itself (perhaps these boards were from ASUS?). Replacing the bigger, stock boxes would be helpful to save storage space - and also for labeling boxes more easily. But, where can one buy boxes like this?

Hi, maybe one of you can help me, my Rampage II doesnt want to get past BIOS Splash Screen, boots POSTS doesnt initial drives but RAM and CPU does. When i try to enter the BIOS or EZ-Flash Keystrokes are registered but doesnt get me to any of them. I tryed to reseat the CPU, CMOS reset and so on, nothing does really change anything. Could it be a bad BIOS chip? Cheers

What are some good sources for socket replacement on motherboards inside the US? I've got a z97 ocf and a m7i with sockets that are missing pins and won't post. Or would I be better off to just go through Asus and Asrock for the replacement? Would it generally matter that the m7i is plastidipped?

More and more mobile devices become narrow bezel or frameless design to get higher competitive capability. As the Ultrabook or mobile phone in recent years, becomes slimmer and lighter is the most important trend. Thought about the design on Gaming Notebooks, since the design needs more high performance hardware and cooling solution, if the technology, ID and material is keep improving, maybe the frame and size could become thinner and lighter year by year. Evantually there are 3 of 15.6” thin bezel and ultra slim gaming notebooks came out in the market, this time it’s MSI GS65, the company did work hard on the gaming market. The full name is GS65 Stealth T…
