Alot of well known overclockers, and some more new and "coloured" have showed impressive CPU-z results on a particular motherboard lately - a board that isnt really build for CPU-z, but for REAL overclocking.. Why insisting that a Gigabyte board is used? Makes more sense if you can use any board, when the board you can win is from Gigabyte. If you already own a Gigabyte board that means you are already their customer. If you use let's say an MSI board (and don't have unlimited funds to buy boards from different vendors) you're not yet a Gigabyte customer. So if you win, you may become one. On the other hand one can argue that insisting on using a GB board, is their way of limiting the competition to their 'loyal' customers. Food for thought?

This topic is about MOA 2011 edition in Poland. On Friday we'll have live competition to raise the winner to represent Poland. But MSI-POLAND invited only TWO teams to fight. That's an EPIC FAIL. Going back to 2009 year, we had great big live competition of 5 best teams in Poland which were selected from online qualifications. In 2010 MOA in Poland was dismissed because ryba & Chaos had won EU finals in 2009 and they got straight ticket to EU finals in 2010. This year edition was really doubtful but "someone" ordered to organise MOA despite the fact that there was pushing to select only ryba (and he pushed the most on polish department). I'm having an issue which is preventing me from posting my results. Despite being a moderator and also typing in the appropriate password it still says that I have no right to post result in the competition. There's something really wrong with the whole password protected competition. Is this punishment? I got lucky with 1111.57 on the second try and could not nail 1111.xx in any of the 20 tries later.

Are old scores allowed? Example my old scores Super Pi and CPU-Z wich I got recently?

Looks like the algorythm is broken. The main task is to get the lowest score, isn't it? So the lowest score should get the highest points.
