l0ud_sil3nc3
Ordered two kits of 3600 c17 just now from the egg, and overnighted them. Hope they are not garabage, but will post some results as soon as they arrive.

Administrators websmile Posted December 17, 2015 Administrators Share Posted December 17, 2015 Got myself a kit of Ripjaws, of the now out-of-fashion E style. The handling of these is funny, sticks individually train 2000MHz 1T, but not together. So the ritual is train at 99.3 and raise to 100 in Windows Another strange thing is that I always need a cold start for C12, simple reboots net me code 35. @Random: B-die is confirmed on these? Out of stock over here it seems Seems G.Skill produces bug like this from time to time, I had tridentZ with same problem, 4133 12-20 only worked with bclk at 1T, 4K 12-19 as well. Makes handling more difficult

l0ud_sil3nc3
6320 after remounting lid, much better now, less volts and higher clocks but always sub-par, lackluster scores

Rauf
Hmm, strange it can make such a difference. Mine is broken though, tried it two more times, and also with the impact. Still maxes out at 5.2 Are there any other batches than X?

marmott
AFR replaces MFR so yes anywhere there was MFR there is now AFR....
sabishiihito
Just be aware that retail AFR isn't always great, I have a kit of Savage 2666C13 that are worse than most of my MFR. Not even stable 3200C12. The other kit behaves like I'd expect AFR to, boots 3600C12.
Random
just meant they are in stock as some people were wondering/ as far as OC so far so good. everything has done c11 3333 lower v than my MFR (1.8+v) majority so far under 1.75v but this is just 3 of 16 tested so far. going slow as I was up till 5am rebinning e-die ripV on this board as MSI xpower ti board is +.05v as far as I can tell. better in more ways than that though went from 4k 12-20-20 1.88, 1.89, 1.86 and one over 1.9v, which was my cut off, to 1.828v,1.84 and 2@ 1.855 vdmm on OCF One afr wont do c11 3333 at 1.7v but is at 1.68v but barely windows was wierd Edited December 20, 2015 by Random
