Administrators websmile Posted August 30, 2016 Administrators Share Posted August 30, 2016 Pieter made the list and it was OK, if we would have hammered out more cores, it would have been chaos as there are a lot we could have added - the main "problem" was the rebranding, because of that we went by core models because we wanted to avoid that same card is ruled out just because it has a rebranded name^^

Dead Things
Trying to submit a score to Stage 3.3 with a Yonah-based T2300, but the sub gets spat back as non-compliant. What's up? Â edit - Ugh, I get it now. Has to have "Pentium" in the name. D'oh! Edited August 31, 2016 by Dead Things
Administrators websmile Posted August 31, 2016 Administrators Share Posted August 31, 2016 I made test submission and failed as well - I created a ticket to check if it is wrong configuration or it is ruled out for whatever reason. My best guess would that it is out because it is no Pentium or celeron, but let´s wait for answer, might be core duo not allowed
Crew Strunkenbold Posted September 1, 2016 Crew Share Posted September 1, 2016 Core Duo have 2Mb L2 Cache. Pentium (Yonah) just 1Mb. From what I can say, the intention of this stage was a battle between Mobile Pentium CPUs. I must admit, that the last Pentiums with "Mobile" in their name was the Mobile Pentium 4. So its maybe a little bit misleading. I think about another name scheme after this comp.
mr.paco
In need of some help. I have been trying over and over to get an XTU submission in SC2/S1 but for what ever reason it just will not submit. I tryed submitting from XTU, Manual, various browsers, re-ran it several times and nothing. They show up in my XTU profile on Bot but thats it. When I try manual, I get There is an issue with the supplied data file. Please try again, if the problem persists contact the HWBOT crew. Â Here is the submission if I can get some help getting it submitted would be greatly appreciated. Intel Core i5-2400S CPU @ 3500.0MHz - 604 XTU marks on HWBOT *MrPACO Edited September 3, 2016 by mr.paco
Administrators websmile Posted September 3, 2016 Administrators Share Posted September 3, 2016 I have no idea what causes the problem, maybe you use an old xtu version? http://forum.hwbot.org/showthread.php?t=150700 You can send me the file via PM and I try if I can submit, might help to find the problem
mr.paco
Will PM you the file The version in use is 6.0.2.8 Â No way to attach the file in PM Edited September 3, 2016 by mr.paco
Massman
Can you submit straight from the XTU application? Â I imagine it might be some issue related to Sandy Bridge architecture and profile export. Perhaps try version 5.2.0.
Administrators websmile Posted September 4, 2016 Administrators Share Posted September 4, 2016 I checked the file, does not work for me as well. Iirc, Pieter might be right, it is no problem of outdated version but maybe too new, we had this in the past with 2600k and similar cpus

mr.paco
Not sure if any one is aware but there used to be a TAB to view the Over-All Rankings (yesterday it was there), but no longer see it. Shows the tabs for each SubComp but not the over all Team Cup Rankings.

superpatodonaldo
My question: Â Team Cup 2016 - SC2 (Modern Gen) - Stage 6 HWBOT x265 1080P Is acceptable the result with Priority: Realtime Pmode enabled Overkill mode 2x enabled ? Â It's important to know BEFORE the end of the cup
Administrators websmile Posted September 7, 2016 Administrators Share Posted September 7, 2016 This is part of the options of the benchmark, and real time is no forbidden tweak - so yes, you can do it

Administrators websmile Posted September 8, 2016 Administrators Share Posted September 8, 2016 It seems there are some irritations about the memory frequency stages. As stated several times, cpuz cpu and memory tab are mandatory for the screenshot, the reason has already been explained in deep and I only mention this again as a heads up in case someone missed this. The second point is the difference allowed between validated frequency and screenshot shown memory frequency. We do indeed accept scrrenshots which show potential but do not exactly match the validated frequency, we did this in the past already on all competitions(pro oc, gskill qualifier and so on). The margin can be maximum of 2%, which means you validate 2000MHz and 1960 at screenshot will be OK for us, because we know doing a screenshot at limit settings can be hard and we only want general proof you have a capable system. I hope this clears a couple of questions
Noxinite
Ah 2%? Cool I could never get a screenshot for greater than 1600 DDR2 with two CPUz open. One was fine though, so I guess I have some more scores to upload.
Noxinite
But can we use version 1.7.7? Or does it have to be only 1.7.6?
Administrators websmile Posted September 8, 2016 Administrators Share Posted September 8, 2016 1.76 or later is OK
havli
SC3 Legacy - Stage 2 (3DM03) Â The rules states Socket 775, DDR2 and P4 65nm, 90nm, 130nm, 180nm. It seems almost everyone is using Pentium D, which is based on Netburst and everything.... but in fact is not a "Pentium 4" by name. I assume it is ok to use PD here? Administrators websmile Posted September 10, 2016 Administrators Share Posted September 10, 2016 Yes, it is OK
Mr.Scott
I do not envy you once you start checking screen shots for the entire comp. There will be much disappointment.
scannick
the rule of the screenshot below 2% also applies to the maximum CPU frequency ?
Administrators websmile Posted September 11, 2016 Administrators Share Posted September 11, 2016 Yes, 2% is ok there as well
