It's MSI/Intel decision - in theory X79 is the highest platform...

 

Ivy would be fun, but also there would be big chance that few teams wouldn't end the competition with points...

depending on how good the chips are, there should be a single card 3d11 WR in the mix I would think....also they will probably say x79 32m wr and x79 03 wr marketing....I think they should have done Wprime1024 and vantage instead. would have been interesting imo.

Wprime + I = burnt cpu/mosfet or really inefficient run

 

Vantage + 1 vote from me

 

It all depends from GPUs and CPUs, in theory with 5.6-5.8 Ghz CPU and 2000/2000 GPU near 17K can be done
