Hi I'm trying to OC my old MSI GT70-2OC laptop to try to tough it maybe 1 more year. I OC the 770m with +90mhz core and 505mhz for the mem. I havent really touched OC in general since I put my 2600k @4.8ghz, so I'm kinda rusty + I never used IETU Help would be appreciated Thx

Apparently my Rampage doesn't want to turbo properly with a E5-2620v2 installed? CPU-Z is saying it's boosting to 2.1 GHz max which is the non-turbo speed. Wat do? EDIT: Seems to fixed itself, weird!

At the time of overclocking which is a memory mainly. I face this problem. The amount of consumption which is a memory beforehand, for about 2500. It's being squeezed, but 、、、. Would there be other good measures?

Hello All, I there somebody here who got a nice modded bios for a AN7 ? I prefer the bios from Tictac or from Mr Enduracell‎. Any good overclock bios will do. I searched for a nice bios but it all ends to the Abit forum(wich doesn't exist anymore) or other dead links. Thanks in advance, Paddopaul

For Windows 7, there are (or were?) several tools to create a customised install DVD. I personally have Windows OEM Preinstallation Kit (OPK) for Windows 7 and WinIntegrator. Are there any similar tool for Windows 10? I want to strip out all the drivers that I don't need, unnecessary services and features, etc (eg Cortana in the latest updates uses more than one core of my APU, despite being disabled! I managed to fix that, after copious research, but as I don't use any part of Cortana, it is one of many features I want removed prior to my next clean install).

I'm paying with an 2080ti and i have very low fs x score. Should be hitting around 18k+ and i'm at 15k. Tried different drivers with clean install, tried on daily os and on bench os. I diled back the oc, just in case it wasn't stable, but scores went down as well . Any ideas?

Just got myself a MOCF, and trying to get 699 marks on 6100. CPU can handle 4000 12-11-11 tight. But i cannot make it run the multiplier x 37 with 102.80 + bclk. Except RAM setting i tried : C-states disabled Clockgen divider 12 pll ort 32 cold bug killer 1.8 vccpll 2.5 bclk 102.80- 102.93 bios L1.31 Win 10 enterprise 32bit ltsb Everty time i boot into os the multiplier self adjusts to 35 . I'm running out of ideas!!

Hi, obviously, there is a slight boost in 3D when increasing refresh rate from typical 60 or 75 to 144Hz and I have experienced that myself. But currently I plan to choose a new display and I am wondering what to choose (performance wise). I suppose there is also a difference between 144 and 165 and even further to 240Hz. Can u guys advise on what can be expected beyond 165 and to 240Hz? Is the difference between 144Hz and 240Hz much lower that from typical 60 to 144hz? Also, do you see any plug dependant differences, e.g. DP vs HDMI differences?

Hi, I'm a newbie overclocker just started learning about it So I have Galax 1050 TI, I did overclock with +100 voltage, 100% power limit(already max, can't increase), +1000 Mem clock & + 90~100 core clock When I test it in firestrike benchmark sometimes the test pass until finish sometimes it crash during the last tick when loading test (mostly graphic test 2 loading) and sometimes during the test, but never crash on physic test and combined test The temp never reach past 60 C during whole test So I test it using unigin heaven extreme preset about 10 minute+ and it never crash. I even manage to up the core to +150 core clock and test it again at unigine heav…

Does anyone know what raising Processor Core IccMax actually does? Is it like raising Core Voltage which I have to do in increments or is it more like Turbo Boost Power Max and I can just max it out without having to worry too much about it damaging my CPU? Also, what's the 411 on System Agent IccMax?

kinja_kahn`s XTU score: 1076 marks with a Core i7 4790K I dont know why I didnt get a higher score. I havent clocked it back that high since then, reason being I wasnt confident in the cooling and throttling makes me uneasy. I dont wanna buy another chip by burning this one up... but I would like better performance. One guy tells me somethings not right with the OC... while another dude says I just have a lucky chip. If anyone can look over it and tell me what im doing wrong or if i just got a lucky chip. I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Kinja
