I'm sure you guys all remember the 3D bios Gigabyte had on their Z77 boards. You know, that screen you see for about one and a half seconds before you switch to advanced mode? Well ... that one's gone. GIGABYTE re-designed their bios look from scratch and I must say it looks really awesome. There are a couple of specific features of the BIOS that I personally really like, but I think we'll have to wait for the GBT team to disclose more information on this.

Anyway, here's a screenshot.

  • Kenny you have QE6S ES stepping, correct? That is why your vcore drops under load as Intel had an issue with earlier FIVR and they fixed this is QEH6 and all retail are based on QEH6 so they figured n

If you zoom out, the Model name definitely says Z87X-OC F...

That's not another Formula, is it?

Still, zoomed out you can tell:

Bios F3b,

CPU Core 34xx

CPU Ratio 31

DDR3-2128

Memory 11-10-13-28

System Temp 30C

PCH Temp 31

CPU: i7-4770, can't make out if it's K, R, T

Looks not bad. Only potential problem I see is scalability with lower resolutions, if my monitor is 1024x768 then I will barely be able to see those letters (just like with current MSI BIOSes).

no deff not formula, but you are getting close, just not with formula. Honestly I need a bigger monitor lol...

Nice!

the only question that remains is does it play dubstep while you are in the bios?

It doesn't plays wubstep.

sound? You mean like that tacky noise the OCF's UEFi puts out that makes you mute your speakers b/c you feel like you are in a 2bit knock off sci-fi movie that doesn't even make it to the scifi channel at 4am?

Yea sure, if space is there to be wasted...

^ouch, u mad bro?

who said I was benching on that board? Just testing.

I don't realyl bench much, just like to go for high CPUz maxes like CPU frequency, BCLK(Which you prob know about), and memory. I don't think i ever did anything with LN2 on that board so that I could sell it when i was done.

Not mad just trying to be funny, i am excited for Z87 :D I mean you must agree that sound in the UEFI is annoying, you must have also heard it because you brought up sound.

When I used HDMI with the OCF for the first time I had a surprise :D

I never knew the OCF had sounds in the bios. I was actually surprised once when i ran heaven or some other odd bench and heard sounds.

Never heard it man, but now i must try it out

lol

Soon Bioses/Boards will inform ocers via speakers:

"give more vcore, don't be a pussy"

I'm imagining uncle fester voice saying JJJJJUNK on OC fail lol
