Lucky_n00b Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 @ Leeghoofd & I.nfraR.ed: Dang, have to be careful with my UP4 then..thanks for the heads-up though Quote
Crew Leeghoofd Posted November 17, 2013 Crew Posted November 17, 2013 Good tip Alva, save every score you get mate, these boards go out in a blink of an eye Quote
Mikecdm Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I've killed two 5800k on it and ran a 6800k, board still works fine. The 6800k probably would have died too, had I tried to run 3d benches on it. Quote
Splave Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I think hwbot prime is a better bench then XTU no offense, clean easy to run and only requires Java.... Quote
Mikecdm Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 When I tried aquamark 2.26 or 2.27 in xp with 780 lightning, the bench runs but no wrapper or score afterwards. With 2.51 I get 0 for all scores. With a gtx 580, all versions work fine with both new and old drivers. Just sharing my experience. I got results in w7 already using 2.51 Quote
basco Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 plz use required background pic for submissions to country cup Quote
dinos22 Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I'm out man, my GB UP4 board gave in at the above speeds and took out the CPU too lol. My second FM board down... these are so fragile However this one was close too stock speeds you able to run it by your local rep to take the board in and have it looked at to see what the possible cause is? involve me in the loop if you can so i can track to see what happened. Massman Posted November 17, 2013 Author Posted November 17, 2013 plz use required background pic for submissions to country cup Feel free to report those that don't have the correct background. They will be removed from the competition. Quote
l0ud_sil3nc3 Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 (edited) For the Catzilla stage would an A10 6800k and an A8 6600k be ok since they are different gpu core? Edited November 18, 2013 by l0ud_sil3nc3 A10 thanks Sprave Quote
Splave Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 You mean A10-6800k vs A8-6600k I think Quote

Crew Leeghoofd Posted November 18, 2013 Crew Posted November 18, 2013 Bought the A75 UD4H on Ebay Dino, returning it. The A85-UP4 is going to GB NL tomorrow... thanks for the heads up ! Quote
der8auer Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 For the Catzilla stage would an A10 6800k and an A8 6600k be ok since they are different gpu core? I think so yes. It's HD 8670D and HD 8570D so should be okay. Quote

Rasparthe Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 If you mean will they provide different entries for the stage, I don't believe they will. Both 6800K and 6600K use the Devestator core and would only provide a single entry for the competition. You would have to go down to the 6400K (Scrapper) to get a different GPU core within the Richland chips. Quote
der8auer Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Let's wait for Massman to reply. He should know the answer Like I said I'm not sure either. Quote
I.nfraR.ed Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 (edited) He already replied to the same question earlier in the thread (can't find it atm, but should be there) and I'm afraid Rasparthe is right. If you want to use another Richland chip together with 6800K, best possible one is 6400K. Despite the different model number, they still share the same core name (Devastator' in the hwbot db) - similar to, for instance, HD7950 and HD7970. PS: By the way, there's another limitation for USA and Germany - you guys are not allowed to use any of the K (unlocked multi) chips. That's what I heard... I'm sure Leeghoofd will confirm! I.nfraR.ed Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 (edited) Ok, I didn't want to be harsh, but - K APUs are only allowed for Bulgaria and Belgium. The latter is allowed, because sometimes Bulgaria is misconsidered as Belgium. A plain loophole in the rules, but I can accept it this time. I'm being generous, that's all Proof: Edited November 18, 2013 by I.nfraR.ed Quote
Massman Posted November 19, 2013 Author Posted November 19, 2013 As for the APUs, Lucky_n00b's list is pretty accurate. The APUs are by core, not by gpu model. Thanks Mass So just to further clarify, we can use these APUs to fulfill the 5 submission requirement for Catzilla stage: 1. A10-6800K / HD 8670D - devastator' 2. A10-5800K / HD 7660D- devastator 3. A8-3870K / HD 6550D - beaver creek 4. A6-6400K / HD 8470D - scrapper' 5. A6-5400K / HD 7540D - scrapper Is that right? Quote
