Johnd0e Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Dont get me wrong. Still going to grab a non reference whenever they come out. Just cant fight the urge to waste money haha. Quote
Massman Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 (edited) No results yet? Whats up here? I waiting someone smash all records by 20%. I think sampling is done differently nowadays. Haven't really seen any in-depth overclocking articles either in spite of the 2.1Ghz "rumored" overclocking created quite the buzz online. There are no scores up on 3DMark either ... It seems like Nvidia wants to make sure they're able to launch the GPU at their schedule rather than having AIB blow the whistle. Press event was on May 6th, Press NDA on May 17th and shipments start from May 29th. This opposed to launch PR and availability at the same time. Edited May 18, 2016 by Massman Quote
Alex@ro Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Yes it's sad no one put a universal water block on this thing and try to see how it goes.... Quote

Johnd0e Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Im curious to see how many people go 4 way and how it compares to the new 2 way highbandwidth. Quote
Dancop Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Semi-right allen... There shall be a special thing from NV for competitive benchmarking Gesendet von meinem HUAWEI NXT-L29 mit Tapatalk Quote

So far the highest scores on the ORB: 19298 Fire Strike http://www.3dmark.com/fs/8538247 10190 Fire Strike Extreme http://www.3dmark.com/fs/8548347 5674 Fire Strike Ultra http://www.3dmark.com/fs/8549378 No idea where the "serious" overclocking results are though. Maybe there is an NDA on those as well? Quote
TaPaKaH Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 You'll get your serious results as soon as people figure out a way to prevent the GPU from shutting down at 1.25V+ Quote

I think the "charging money" is just typical anti company talk. Quote
flanker Posted May 24, 2016 Author Posted May 24, 2016 For more than 2 SLI card must registred with some nvidia special software and after you will get unlock key for full combination of SLI 3 or 4. Or you cna try GTX1080+R9 FuryX together Quote

Nothing serious here aswell, but still, seems in line with our results. http://nl.hardware.info/reviews/6740/28/nvidia-geforce-gtx-1080-review-de-nieuwe-koning-overkloktest Quote
Massman Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 Nice! Do you have any info on the 1.25V limitation for the GPU? Quote
rsnubje Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 I found the beta Precision tool kinda lacking in term of user friendlyness, so I didn't touch the voltage slider, since it didn't clearly inform what you were actually setting. Max powerlimit and temp(temp priority) seemed to be enough to get to 2.1GHz tho. Quote
Oj0 Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 I get that LN2 results are being saved for Computex, but why is NOBODY showing their results yet? Quote
Alan_Alberino Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 I get that LN2 results are being saved for Computex, but why is NOBODY showing their results yet? I think they benched it with new Intel CPUs and they are still under NDA so they can't show anything yet... Just my thought Quote
der8auer Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 I get that LN2 results are being saved for Computex, but why is NOBODY showing their results yet? because there is nothing to show. 1.25 Volt limit. Not much more to say Quote
nachtfalke Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 if all exemplars had same behavior and that are not solved with bios from nvidia , seems to be a hardware problem not at software level , 1.25volt limit is from chip itself , technological chip process and nvidia can limit the core voltage at 1.25v and that is not good at all for OC community Quote
buildzoid Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Well at least I can keep hitting my Fury Xs with a soldering pen in peace. Quote
Matt26LFC Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 because there is nothing to show. 1.25 Volt limit. Not much more to say Will hard mods solve this? Quote
