Or is DDR4 Stage 7 : 3DMark 11 Dual GPU  (3 X GPU SUBMISSIONS NEEDED) the only dual gpu stage.

Only single core cards in all stages, DDR4 stage 7 is indeed SLI of crossfire with 2 graphics adapters (single cores)

I'm just double checking in case of typo, we're using AM3 on the DDR2 cinebench stage or AM2? Both work just making sure there wasn't a typo

Is this the same as previous years where all submissions need different hardware?  If so, how does this work for the dual DIMM DDR1 frequency stage?

you can use different brands and/or speeds/timings, but this time iso 1 stick you use two of the same sticks

Some stages are indeed limited to a specific type of CPU (limited by socket, core count or type) Hoping Frederik can get it all sorted out before the 5th. For older platforms there wil be opteron/xeons allowed, though only single CPU platforms, never dual sockets!!!

 

What is considered old? 1366? 2011? Because 2011 would give those with a 1680 v2 (unlocked 8 core) an advantage.

nope it is AM3, AM3+ is for 3D11

Um AFAIK the Titan V can't run dual GPU so it can't be used on stage 7. It would only be OK on stage 6 since that's single card.

Also for the AM3 SuperPi stage does that require AM3 boards or can you run Phenom IIs on AM3+ boards?

Hence why I did not comment on a previous harsh reply mr Buildzoid...  DDR4 Stage 6 is no Titans allowed sorry.

Now back to your question: Phenom IIs can be run on AM3+ (at least on my Crosshair V)
