Start date will be the 5th of August till the 31st of October.

Verification rules will be expanded versus the regular standard offical HWBot rules:

  • CPU-Z tabs for CPU, Mainboard and Memory (+SPD for the memory stage)
  • Verification Screenshots are always full screen, no removal of taskbar, no clipping,...
  • Retail hardware only (also for motherboards)
  • Competition Background must be visible
  • To avoid the drama of last year, picture(s) of the RUNNING OC setup has to be added with each submission
  • For all 3DMark benchmarks the latest Systeminfo has to be installed (have verification files at hand)
  • Only single core GPUs are allowed!!
  • If required don't forget to add the verification link!
  • List the cpu type/speed/cooling used, motherboard brand/type, Memory/speed and GPU brand/type/clocks in the submission

different speeds/timings/brand, hence the request for the spd tab and picture of the memory modules being used ( heatspreader )

What is the tolerance for screenshots versus CPU-Z validation? Previously it had been 5% I think?

Also, I take it you can mix and match memory sticks? You don't need to use two from the same kit?

Issue is if you want to validate the memory frequency you will have to do it on the lastest version available this is 1.85. If you compare the screenshot above, can it be OS related?

I tried 1.85 on S939 and got SPD tab on Windows 7...  so you will have to ensure it will work on the latest version...

Can anyone give me the trick so that CPU-Z doesn't crash windows on 462?

Cause for me end of the road is 1.57... Or are we allowed to use old CPU-Z for showing freq for PiFast?

How will the memory scores be determined to be unique, given that they are all the same type of ram? Are we using the brand instead, or does it not matter?

the competition engine is not calculating the aggregate scores yet for DDR Frequency, only showing the best score for each team...

The memory max freq stage seems to be broken, only the best result for each team is being counted.

Ah, nvm, I see that it was already mentioned.

Is this because it's looking for 3 unique mem types, but there is a 2nd rule allowing only DDR. It should just be unique submissions from users wach with DDR, no?

Are we going to keep the limitation of Venice core only at stage-2 ?

I ask cause i just saw a recent edit at a DDR2 stage (where cpu options were already plenty).
