lol, CloudGate on GT610. I can still use the GT610 PCI (if it is allowed) from the CountryCup - slideshow detected? Is it going to start at all?

The only stage I can be competitive is the 1xAMD hwbotprime.

SDRAM - well, no way on super7 socket motherboard.

I think I have a pci SIS card for round 4, and will buy a GT610 for round 1, since I've been meaning to get a low profile/power + silent GPU for 2D benching anyway. Everything else though, NOOOOPE, way too old to keep around taking up valuable GPU storage space. :P

Looks like we can use semrpons for stage 2, unless i'm missing something. However, it's a big waste of time. I did it a month ago and a 6ghz sempron gets killed by a 4ghz celeron.

I've got all the gear except the GT610. :P

For Stage 4, there is no 3dfx card that can run 3dmark03... Even the V5 5500 can only run 3dmark99/00/01 and AM3.

It even gets killed by a single-core Yonah and Penryn at 2.3-2.66GHz.

Not sure what's wrong, it looks worse than the difference in SuperPi by a big margin.

I will freeze mine for CB R15 anyway, so will do a couple of hwbotprime runs too.

is the amd stage a single cpu or cpu thread? bit confusing

Yes, this one. The intro seems to suggest a single core processor but the stage states that it is x1 CPU, meaning I can use a 8350?

Looks like a great competition!

Am I to understand that we are allowed to disable cores for SC2?

Because based on the the limitations and past competitions my understanding is that it must be ONE SINGLE CORE CPU and NO CORE DISABLING.

Just wanna be clear so I'll know.

Thank you...
