HWBOT Development: bugs, features and suggestions

Hey guys, Just wanted to share a small new feature of the forum. The post bit of a result submission discussion now has more details that just the link. Is it possible to actually use the Overview tab on each of the OC eSports Competitions as an 'actual' overview? For instance maybe putting in the specific benchmarks for all 5 stages in the overview. Only a suggestion, but geez it would make navigating between Divisions a lot easier. 7 pages to look at instead of 35.

i ran a firestrike test and went to submit it and for the life of i could not get it to pull up in the drop box a gtx 760. i tried a few different ways to type it in and nothing really worked and eventually it dropped a 760 ti which these cards are just vanilla 760's so anyhow now it shows a incorrect placement for my submission. how can i correct this thank you

Hi, I've been going through my database and noticed some things that need to be fixed in the hwbot database for socket A. It's possible I'm missing or don't know something, so someone else need to double-check. 1. Athlon 1266MHz (Thunderbird) is missing. I don't have it, maybe it is rare, don't know. 2. Athlon MP 1200 has 2 variants (100 and 133 FSB) and maybe should be split into 2 diff categories, just like Athlon 1000, 1200 and 1400. 3. Athlon MP 1700+. I can't find information that it actually exists. I think it is just regular XP identified as MP and submissions in the database are wrong. If someone has photo of that CPU, please share. Hi No matter what I do I can't submit a score in GPUPI 1B. The benchmark runs fine, saves screenshot. But I can't submit any score. Tried to downclock both mem and CPU to really safe levels but can't submit that either. The error is on hwbot page when I load the saved file. "Invalid data file: Unable to decrypt the datafile" I have tried to save with and without screenshot. Tried putting the file on different USB drives. Upload directly from SSD. Nothing works. Ran the benchmark five times with different clocks, all have the bad data file issue... XTU is no problem to upload on same OS install. Any help? This is for a competition so... Edit: Have also …

I just noticed there is a small bug on the leaderboards of subs made for the HWBot world tour Super Pi 1M HWBot Points comp, just shows up as the points total instead of the time in the leaderboard for the CPU now. http://hwbot.org/hardware/processor/core_i3_540/ like that, same as when you look at the submission. Not a huge priority but just a small bug.

Hello, In the "HWBOT League" section, I would like to uncheck the field "I do not wish to participate in the HWBOT rankings." then apply settings by clicking on "Save changes" input below. But there is a 404 page error on the url "http://hwbot.org/profile/editRankings" when I submit the form. Can you check out what's wrong ? Thank you !

trying to submit a ref clock and all i keep getting is the oops page!

Some days ago I saw that some of my subs went one place up. As this is a rather unusual process, as the usually go one place down I looked a little deeper into this and didnt trust my eyes as it seems that Tapakah has no longer any points. All of his subs disappeared. So what's up here? I guess Im missing something here for sure...

Go to OC eSports. Click on "Series" dropbox. Click on "Old School is best School". Click on "More about this round". Error Message "Oh. This is embarrassing. (404 not found) ***9888; Oops! Either we broke something or you can't type. Probably the first." Can we please just ditch this OC eSports garbage. The old way was much better and far more user friendly.

Does the forum code give the option to have all new users be invisible by default until they have e.g. 25 posts or a mod "clears" them? If the spammers can't be seen, then they aren't messing up the forum and the mods have time to deal with them at their leisure.

Hi, I just remembered an announcement saying that competition points will be back as Esports points, and the new algorithm will be "SUM of [TOP15(GL+WR) + TOP20(HW) + TOP15(EP)]," but its still SUM of [TOP15(GL+WR) + TOP20(HW)]. Will the algorithm update to the one with Esports points someday or it will remain as TOP15(GL+WR) + TOP20 HW? Hello, This morning, I discovered that many of my rewards have gone! I know that ONE bench had to be removed (survey), but now many have been removed, and the cups! It hurts the heart for overclockers who have spent time and energy in these benchs for everything disappears. Is it not possible to suspend these benchs and keep the cups? Best regards Martin White

So MLG came 6th in the first Novice nimble, great stuff really proud of the guys. The problem is that we get reminded about it on the hour every hour. Any thoughts on reworking the point structure memory? Seems like it would be a little more accurate to have more than just a hardware records based on each platform. What about World Record points for each platform but hardware points split up based on CL? Each platform split up among the relevant CAS latency, kind of like cores for a multi-core benchmark like Wprime. Comments?

Hello all, I'm doing some tests using Liquid CO2 cooling technology to overclock cpu's. But i'm missing the option to select "Liquid CO2" between the cooling options. Therefor I'm not able to submit my achievements to this very nice website. Is it possible to add this option? This is completely different than using dry ice or other liquid cooling technologies. If somebody wants to have some more information about using this, just let me know. Greetings!

I think it's time that we had a few new achievements, what I'm suggesting is that we have a new batch of some of the socket achievements for the now EOL sockets, i.e. 1155, AM3, AM2, FM1 etc etc Also a couple of others I think might be good are AMD 64 guru (any AMD 64 chip across 754, 939, AM2 etc) and Pentium 4 guru (Same thing across different socket.) I don't know what to suggest as numbers for these since I'm sure you guys have some sort of calculations for what each one should be but I do believe these would be good additions.
