Is it just me or is it more stressful forcing you to run at lower clock speed but gives a higher score at a lower clock speed than before.... what is changing as the versions go on? are we still allowed to do the trick where you run the old perfomancetune shortcut? Which versions are you allowed to submit to normal non competition HWbot

Hey guys, I've something to ask which I can't figure out for the life of me. I got XTU to run once on my 4770K and Z97 OC Formula, and never again. I've even resorted to reinstalling, changing clocks, changing voltages, changing RAM configs, everything you can think of. It must be down to software somewhere but I don't know what I am missing. I didn't install anything differently than to the time my other install ran it once, but now it just won't work at all. Installed on the system: chipset drivers, ME drivers and XTU. Everything else is left as is by the Windows installer. It's a full install of 7. Please help me here. I am at a massive loss as what to …

@FM_Jarnis Is it possible to slightly mod , the most beloved Futuremark benchmark , just to show , the on screen FPS over 999. I assume it's only a minor coding modification. Is it doable ?

Just wanted to share this article with you guys. Hope it's the right subforum. http://uk.hardware.info/reviews/5653/studying-the-scaling-capabilities-of-the-most-important-hwbotorg-benchmarks I guess most of you already know what does and what doesn't scale with most of the benchmarks though. And it's only tested with one OS, but that made it easier to compare and time efficient.

Let's be gentlemen's and share our knowledge for this rather popular benchmark. Since I've started the thread, I will start with my share of tweaks I've been using (partially) for the last 2 years. Operating System * Preferred OS, in order of performance Linux MacOSX Windows NT5 (XP / 2003) Windows NT6 (Vista / 7 / 8 / 8.1) * General OS Tweaks For Windows platforms there are no specific requirements, other than having as few processes and services running. Do not try achieving this by using DIAGNOSTIC MODE, it will generally score lower than in normal mode with startup items disabled etc. Command Line Parameters * Using High Priority for unrar.exe You…

This has been an ongoing issue since version 1.60 came out. Locks up the entire system when you try to open CPU-Z to get the required tabs for a screenie, this issue is making it impossible to use the latest version for.... Well... Anything Socket A related, including CPU speed validations. If it's truly a requirement to run the latest version of it for your screenies, that would make a fix for it all the more important, or at least a way to make it work. I've tried it with several mainboards and CPU's; In every single instance so far it has failed, always locking up the system when the dialogue box says "Processors" while starting the program. I'll just say it - Wi…

Does anyone know why everytime I make a validationfile with CPU-Z it get corrupt? At first I thought it was my dirty old XP install but now I have reinstalled XP and the problem is still there. The only things installed is chipset and GPU drivers and CPU-Z of course. Please help I´m desprate! It doesn´t matter if it´s OCed or not either. And I tried both install and standalone versions of CPU-Z 1.69.2 and both F7 and Validate button with the same results, a 4kb file instead of a bigger file that actually contains info... Hi guys. Later this week I will do live ocing of ram and cpu for Team Xtreem local representative here in Sweden. I've done this once before with them and main problem is as always to get the crowd interested... We will use a big TV to show my desktop and I'm thinking of using some sort of magnifier or other program to highlight ram speed and more importantly make it easier to see. I'm just thinking very simple here, give people a number in MHz --> increase it and people will understand the basic of ovverclocking Does anyone know of an utlity that suits this description?

Hey guys, Running Cat 720 at the moment on tri sli (Ti) and seem to be having some sort of an issue. Last night i ran a couple of time and lost the clocks on gpu, probably due to temp. Thats all rectified now and i've been monitoring clocks this morning and there's no issue holding them. Score at the end of the run is less than i had with x2 sli, by a good bit. (46k v's 51k) Is this a software issue on the Cat side of things or have i completely missed something? (3 gpu afr enabled).

Here is a screenshot not to make you angry but to show you how to bug UCBench to run stupid high. using -ri7 after the instruction set I would say 1 in 10 runs will be buggy like this In the screenshot you will see its not there because I erased it before taking it. I think the answer to this is to require a valid link for top 20 in each category. The valid link will show the actual string you used in the command line.
