I heard from an ex MSI guy, that all the boards where already coated since a few years now..

 

But they mean PCB only (not a big deal though) or even all componants and solderings?

Ultra Durable has humidity protection with the PCB design, not quite the same as using conformal coating. Gigabyte's solution is to reduce humidity inside the PCB, the coating is on top of the PCB.

no is not

 

it is only to protect the PCB from moisture not water they can not coat the ram and pcie slots

We will see !
