This is a submission that's super curious: You can see he only has an H110 GT in his picture, he lied about his cooling, has his BIOS settings hidden and is running 5 ghz on a 5960x with only an AIO? http://hwbot.org/submission/2889117_ Then this guy is also in his team, and got really close to same frequency, also on sn0wme's profile he has a picture WITH DJForza in front of the custom watercooled 5960x PC. http://hwbot.org/submission/2889216 They either got ridiculously lucky and both got great 5960x's, or they're hardware sharing and using Sn0wme's PC to submit that score. Not trying to point fingers or get anyone in trouble, it…

http://hwbot.org/submission/2537534_raules009_cinebench___r11.5_core_i7_3770k_11.44_points/ and http://hwbot.org/submission/2856622_gofspar_cinebench___r11.5_core_i7_3770k_11.77_points/ they have got a very high score for the clock. seems a bit fishy.

Both 1st and second place results for the 890FXE look suspect. Ram speeds seem to be a bit of a givaway, possibly a bug which is doubling the HTT speed on CPU-Z??? http://hwbot.org/submission/2427858_farid_reference_clock_ta890fxe_490.01_mhz/

Please check this user CPU-Z submissions, almost every single one seems very suspect, especially given the motherboards used http://hwbot.org/user/241793184/

It's a crime that even though we all voted to keep Pcm05 globals. ..and thought it was all settled.. that someone decided "hey f-u-c-k you guys,I'm taking away globals for Pcm05 " They are gone. You spend hours learning a benchmark, buy the best RAID card you can,4 ssds that you never use..all for a bit of fun. Looping Pcmark for hours just to get everything to kick in right like you know it can. ..and it was fun Then some one person decides he doesn't want that..nevermind what other people want. PcMark05 was one of the most fun benches there was. a)You had to know the tweaks b) You could run it on any CPU c) You did need some specific hardware to excel at i…

This guy surfaced for 1 or 2 years ago on local swedish forum and claimed he had a 5900 MHz 2600k, right when people where stuck with the first x53 multi cpus. Sure, not impossible, but as we know very, very hard to come by. No benchmarks or anything else at all other than cpu-z validation. Cpu was already sold when I asked to buy it from him. He also posted a result here on hwbot with E8400 @ 6174 MHz... AIR-cooled. Yeah right. http://hwbot.org/submission/2291016_xroo_cpu_frequency_core_2_e8400_(3.0ghz)_6174_mhz Today I saw him posting an old result with his E8400, 6,7 GHz @ 743 fsb. http://valid.canardpc.com/2381309 Well, this last result really pushes the "plausib…

Is ES hardware allowed in Xtreme OC League? According to the general rules it isn't but alot of good scores are made with ES samples by people in Xtreme OC and nobody is complaining. I have an ES CPU that I have not posted any 2D scores with beacause I thought it wasn't allowed.

This was not the first submission that I doubt but I want to make it the last. http://forum.hwbot.org/showthread.php?t=7436 - here's the start of the story. In short, at first REIBEROCROSS shows a Sempron validation that is not a Sempron at all. He tries to explain it with bridge mods. The only problem is that Sempron CPUs are known to have locked multiplier and can't change their multiplier via bridges. Then he pretends to be deaf talking about Duron Applebred unlocking (most of which are unlocked and don't require any modifications). Yesterday, he brings this thread up after 4 years! And shows what he wants us to think is a unlocked via modification Sempron…

http://hwbot.org/submission/2471239_flashg_cinebench_r11.5_xeon_e5_2687w_v2_15.71_points This guy either has no idea what he names his screenshots or can't tell the difference between Cinbench R15 and Cinebench R11.5. Some one should probably tell him that he screwed up. PS could someone take down all my i7 3630QM/3720QM submissions because I screwed them up. The screenshots and frequencies are wrong.

Hello overclocking community. At the hacking tricks website, I posted vulnerabilities related to CPU-Z's validation. It is possible to produce fake results rather easily. I've been working with the CPU-Z team to improve security. Input sanitation for the results is now included. An upcoming CPU-Z release will be much more secure and trustworthy. I can't speak as to the new security measures or reverse engineering technical process, but ask any questions you may have.
