Seeing this makes me have less problems with delidding a retail cpu. At least, if I can find a matching glue to put back on.

Willing to buy an early sample, and do testing on my 5775C I have with me that I've been dying to delid.

Roman, any chance at looking for US distribution to save on shipping costs? If this was available for $20-$30 in the US with cheap shipping that would be amazing.

This seems like something you could 3D print but I would still shell out $$ for one. Hopefully we can get a US seller.

Nice, let me know the outcome. I also offered to send der8auer my 5675C so he himself can test it on a Broadwell. :)

I now one guy(I mean personally), he can remove HS for 10 euro and it will like new after changing thermal interface. So i think price for this experemental stuff should be redused. I think divided by 3, at least.

I also think the price of a Lamborghini should be divided by 3. Lolwtf

Why you compared your stuff with Lamborgini? Do you think you did something uniqe? It's only because you don't have any competitors and the're some guys who have extra money falling from their pockets.

Anyway you producted it first, so you can setup price whatever you want. I just pointed on fact that guys with good arms and head exist in our world :celebration:

it is always easier to say "I could have done that" when you have seen how it is done.

It is easy to see the genius in the design.

Would i like to make one myself? Of course. But lacking the skills, tools, and vision.. i would buy one in a heartbeat if it was in the states.

Hi,

First of all congratulations for this wonderful idea.

Is it possible to watercool a *naked* Skylake CPU?

Do you know which deltaT should I expect going from a delidded cpu with liquid metal between the CPU and the IHS to a naked one?

Acetal is definitely not the same as pbs 3d printed shit I would not want to try a 3d printed thing.

There's a file going around for one though
