Splave Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 MOA 2012 one work? No responds to me anymore either... Quote
Massman Posted October 11, 2013 Author Posted October 11, 2013 Sigh ... I'll bring this up next time I have a meeting. How do they expect people to use MSI cards for top scores then? Quote
jjjc Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 I'm guessing they're counting on MOA bringing out all of the records they'll need for this generation Quote
Massman Posted October 11, 2013 Author Posted October 11, 2013 History has taught us otherwise ... I heard KP is on a mission too. Something with earning his bonus this year Quote
matose Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 They don't send VGA's anymore either, at least to me Not good marketing, if you ask me... Quote
FireKillerGR Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 LOL, seems like I am really lucky then... Got both ABX and Lightning's bios But what is really strange is that I still waiting for EU dep. to contact me in order to send some samples (direction from HQ 3 weeks ago... ) -.- Quote
Massman Posted October 11, 2013 Author Posted October 11, 2013 I guess most of the OC allocation (eg: 780 lightning) is reserved for MOA Quote
jjjc Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 I spoke to a couple of guys in Aus today (not the team.au guys) and they were having no trouble getting abx from MSI. Maybe a regional issue? Quote
der8auer Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 No problem for me to get ABX from MSI Germany Quote
rsnubje Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 I also recently got ABX. You just need to make sure your local office pushes Taiwan a little to make it for you. Quote
Gunslinger Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 Can we get some names or email addys for the US reps? I've got no response from the HQ people I have contacted. Quote
I.nfraR.ed Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 (edited) What if there's no MSI rep in Bulgaria and I've imported HD7970 Lightning (new from RMA, no warranty) from US? How can I possibly get the Extreme version of Afterburner? Who should I contact? PS: I can't find HQ's email. Edited December 1, 2013 by I.nfraR.ed Quote
Crew Leeghoofd Posted December 1, 2013 Crew Posted December 1, 2013 I tried that, ZERO REPLY ! Wrote twice an email, even contacted some of them on facebook... no responce at all sigh... way to go ! I sold my 780 lightning card to a gamer coz I could not get it officially... That card hasn't even seen LN2 up close sigh... Why not include a link on a voucher or sort off, then online you have to agree to take full responsability once donwloaded... Honestly why do we need to put up with this ? Yes OCER A, you can have it, sorry no Albrecht you can't get it because you... Quote
I.nfraR.ed Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Yes, I don't really expect a response. Who am I? Some unknown poor overclocker from Bulgaria. Wait, where was that? Is that a country? Guess I will use other methods to increase the voltage. Quote
Gunslinger Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 This thread is sort of funny in a sick and demented way. I sent them the signed NDA on 10/31 and still have not heard anything back from them, and this was for MSI products to be used in the Q4 Pro Cup competition. Kind of makes a guy think twice about where and with whom to spend his money next time. Quote

They make OC gpu's but don't support the people who buy it to unlock the power, bad management, there should be 1 universal email for this. like lightning@msi.com and that email replies daily Quote
I.nfraR.ed Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 I got a resonse telling me to download the normal version. Second response was that Extreme version is not public. Thanks, MSI, I didn't know it! Quote

zzolio Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 I do not think nvidia will be satisfied if they just give them away Quote
Jimba Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Make it somehow show that people can OC GPU's on cold? Quote
newlife Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 (edited) Do I have to point out this thread http://forum.hwbot.org/showthread.php?t=68909 I followed this but a little different and was able to unlock voltages on a 7870 hawk and Asus DC2 So no need for ABX Edit: Just to add I had to use a modified bios on the DC2 to increase powertune limts from about 150w to 233w (Same as Hawk) or the card would crash with about 1.35-1.4v Edited December 4, 2013 by newlife Quote
I.nfraR.ed Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 This is the method we're going to use, but still unlocked ABX is more convenient. Quote
4Core Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 I just got my hands on a copy of abx, i contacted a rep through the MSI canadas facebook page, i am surprised you guys are having such a hard time getting a copy considering i just said i was a ln2 overclocker and they sent me a copy. Maybe i was just lucky. Quote
