I recently had to do a clean install of windows 10(bad upgrade) and lost all of my Lenovo software. I have been able to get most of it back with no problems except of for the OneKey Overclocking program, for all of us with this rig that means no light the overclocking still works with Intel ETU but how I miss my lights. If anyone has these files and is willing to share them with me you would be my newest and most favorite internet friend ever. If you PM me I will give you access to my TS3 server and we can transfer the files there because the files are to large for email. Please and Thank You.

  5. OK so I've been doing overclocking live streams for a bit with varying levels of success. On one of the live streams I had the idea that it would be much cooler if there was 2 people competing against each other. So that's what this thread is about. If you want to live stream overclocking you optimally need 2 cameras one to watch the system and one to watch your screen. If you're benching 2D you can use a capture card however if you setup a camera well you do not run into any unusual issues that you might get with a capture card. Ideally a stream like this would need 3 people to actually work. 2 people benching and 1 person doing commentary and maintaining a score…

  9. Guys, I downloaded for me little 8600 GT card a nVidia Forceware 162.67 drivers and when I apply coolbits, the speed actually go down. So it looks like that nVidia modified their drivers on their webpage to actually prevent overclocking by coolbits (the easy way and preffered way for me) for even old cards. Now the question is obvious - where and witch drivers (or modified ones?) I should use? Or someone have them on the CD or in "Install" directory on HDD as I have most stuff and can upload them on mediafire.com or somewhere...? Thanks for suggestions. I know it looks as a bit lame question, but IIRC the Omega drivers ended up at around v61.77 Forceware and for 8…

I.... have been treading on toes recently. I *have* been posting critical comments, but i've not been angry when i've been typing, i've never been more relaxed in my life, so I need to figure out how i'm getting it wrong. Some of the points i've wanted to make/things i've wanted to say have been lost due to poor wording on my part or the wrong application of my sarcasm. I am sorry for offense caused by poor wording, but not for challenging ideas. I'm gonna take a month away from here, maybe longer. Sorry again. K

For these poor souls, who did not have airconditioning (or computer testing room lack this feature) or their A/C suxx - I have to say that it is kinda sweaty to work in 28°C Even overclocking requires a "little bit" more cooling recently. Dunno how do you guys do it, but I do it this way: And it works! :celebration:

  15. Started by buildzoid,

So I decided that now that I have a Fury I could practice my volt modding on my 290X and this is the end result: It still works but it no longer fits the stock cooler so I can't test if the volt mod actually works until I get an alternative cooler for it. Either way I'm glad I did the 290X first because now I won't make the same mistake when I do my Fury. Can anyone guess what I did?

  16. <rant> Any thread in voltmod forums section just give's now You are not logged in or you do not have permission to access this page. . If I'm a newbie user and want to learn something how to get more out of my hw - I must now register and login All those talks and editorials, leagues and PR-releases about being more friendly to newcomers, and now we get this? Thanks. <rant/> PJ applied magic fix. :battle:

  19. Dear community, the most quiet time of the year is here, where we think about about our family and friends. This year we have lost a big part of the overclocking community, our dear Karl. So I would like to invite you to join us in honoring his name by participating in our donation campaign for an Austrian children hospital dedicated to researching cancer especially for young patients. The idea was born when you guys asked where you could donate to his family, but they wanted you to help the hospital instead. Now this idea is wrapped up the way Turrican would like it ... To cut things short, overclockers.at (my site), our friends from Noctua and HWBot h…

I have 2x4Gb TridentX ram I want to sell, xmp 9-11-11-31 2400 1.65v. How much should I be asking for it? I plan on putting it in the marketplace section, but figured I should ask first so I don't price it to high or to low.

  21. Does anyone know the science behind why we can achieve higher clocks at the same voltages while on sub ambient solutions? IE: CPU did 5 ghz 1.4v on Air, but can do 5.4 or 5.5 ghz @ 1.4v on Ln2. Is it because the resistance of the silicon is lowered by the extreme cold? If someone could explain it scientifically in layman's terms that'd be wonderful!

  22. Started by Lays,

Am I allowed to ice-bucket my AIO in Rookie, or does that count as extreme cooling and put me in enthusiast? I ask because I just did a CB run on my 4770k with an ice bucket for my radiator, and I don't want to submit it unless I'm allowed to. I have a screenshot with temps and also a picture of my radiator in the bucket of ice if that helps any.

Sorry, in some ways this is wildly self-indulgent, but i'm pretty happy with how this has turned out The only part supplied in the kit was the medium gray bulkhead. Everything else was scratch-built. Next up.... painting!
