  2. This will be the Official Support thread for Matt's BenchMate benchmark tool. This software will verify the Windows timer issue (known as the RTC bug) some users could run into when running older Intel or any AMD processor on Windows 8/10/11. But most important it will perform a thorough check the integrity and output of the benchmark. Thanks to the Automated online uploads via the BenchMate wrapper or manual upload via the BenchMate Datafile it allows for easier and faster submitting as most hardware fields will be auto prefilled. 5. Hey all, As you all know, sometimes CPU-Z validations are invalidated even though the result is perfectly valid (eg: stock config). Although Franck, the developer of CPU-Z, doesn't owe it to anyone to fix his (free) software, he always seems keen to improve the validation process. All he needs is a bit of correct feedback! So, when you encounter issues with CPU-Z, be it the application or the validation page, please save a TXT report. Franck cannot improve the software based on a .CVF validation, he absolutely needs the TXT . You can find it under the about tab: Once you have the .txt report, mail it (+ an explanation of the issue) to cpuz@cpuid.com …

We are finally able to upload results without having the benchmark installed: :woot: http://www.3dmark.com/settings/uploadresult (need to be logged in). Works for all non-discontinued 3DMark and PCMark benchmarks (please select the right one in the dropdown) The issue some people were having when trying to upload 03/05/06 result files from the benchmark with latest System Info or no System Info at all shouldn't happen anymore if you do it via the Result Uploader. Enjoy! Feel free to report any issues/suggestions you may encounter here, I will do my best to help. Error messages you may get: - "Unknown error" => Result has been al…

As the title says, I would like to collect suggestions, ideas (even crazy ones) from the community. Can be anything, GUI related to online validation. I submitted several ideas and suggestions to Futuremark and some eventually were put into production

  8. Because I'm testing daily something new, the time spent gathering the benchmarks needed to run -so many new ones- had to be somehow reduced. With ninite.com in mind, I decided to make my own offline installer that would install all needed benchmarks and their dependencies in one click, and remove them just as easily. Constrained by size of the benchmarks, I will split this project into separate installers: 2D Benchmarks v1.6 FULL (All 2D benchmarks, sorted by categories). 9. I am trying to overclock a few server/workstation cards from nvidia. Namely the grid K1 and the tesla M10 , both are 4 gpu's on one card. As soon as i apply the settings for the gpu speed , the settings are ignored and everything is put back to stock. With the m10 i can lower powertarget without any problem and the card then also works slower. The grid K1 is on w10 with latest 370.41 whql driver For the m10 i need to use windows server 2012 with 376.84 driver ( only working windows driver i have found so far ) What could be the problem and how can this be solved? @RJGamesAhoy , @FzR dontdie x Did you have to change a certain setting in 370.41 driver or in afterburner t…

  10. Hello!! I've been doing some CO tuning to my 5800X3D (system specs below) and also I did some RAM OC with my CPU at stock. In both cases, the stress test I always fail is N63 from YCruncher. I don't know exactly what component this test stresses, since the sensors of my board show that energy, RAM and CPU usage are at "normal" levels, but I fail N63 everytime. What made me think about this test was that when I was testing my RAM OC (CPU stock) I had several reboots and Event Viewer always pointed to a random core crashing... which I couldn't wrap my head around it since my CPU was at stock and my system is perfectly stable at stock settings (tested for 48hrs str…

What about AVP benchmark to add HWBOT league (beta)? AVP looks "nice" and its quick. We can add score as number of frames (not average FPS). Hey everyone, I wanted to ask about 3DMark in general. On the 3DMark website, you can connect your 3DMark account with your HWBOT account, but it doesn't do anything. Wouldn't it be nice, if both HWBOT and 3DMark could recognize your achievement equally by for example, getting the results from each other and adding to one another, so we could have more data for you to look at. What do you think?

  13. Motivated by an other recent post in our forum , i decided to make this "re-post" of an older wordpress blog , about running older 3D Benchmarks with current pc systems that use modern hardware and OS. All credit goes to the author of this blog , (aka scali) https://scalibq.wordpress.com/2020/12/25/running-anything-remedy-futuremark-madonion-ul-in-2020/ Also copy-pasting his post (i hope he doesn't have a problem with this) just in case something gets lost in the future. People with more knowledge , please feel free to contribute in this thread. // Running anything Remedy/Futuremark/MadOnion/UL in 2020 Posted on December 25, 2020 by S…

Is there a way to get CPU-Z to correctly identify the processor with modern editions? 1.52.2 will report the t9600 when OC'd, but at stock frequency it will correctly report an x9000. I cannot get the modern revisions to do so no matter what I try. Does anyone have a solution? edit: typo

There is a brand new 3D benchmark out from Basemark called Basemark GPU. It offers a wide selection of resolutions , API's and operating systems support. I tested the 4K DX12 option and it seems pretty good. Might be worth a try and maybe in a future worth considering to add to hwbot 3D benchies , also no cancer systeminfo needed 😁. Hi everybody Are we going to host both preset ? Steel Nomad Steel Nomad Light ... and what about the different setting inside the bench (DX12 and Vulkan) ? It seems that Vulkan setting scores higher than DX12. Hwbot thoughts ?

  17. Developer of y-cruncher here. Looks like a lot has changed since I've last visited. 2.5b is now a thing, but only under BenchMate presumably because I never gave Hwbot the decryption keys for it. (Yes, the program has decryption keys for all the benchmark sizes, but I only submitted the ones for 25m, 1b, and 10b into the system when I first added the benchmark years ago.) Anything I can do here to make things compatible again? (or just just drop the submitter since BenchMate looks superior in every way) Staff can DM or email me to take this offline. -------- In any case, the reason why I'm here is that y-cruncher v0.8.1 is coming out soon (1-2 mo…

In the last few weeks I've been working on a benchmark to calculate pi on graphics cards. It's an idea that's in my head for some years now, but I couldn't put it to life until now. Somehow the death of our beloved Turrican inspired me - I wanted to do something good, something that matters. So I tried hard and it finally worked out. I want to dedicate this benchmark to Turrican, like a virtual monument to never forget his legend. A benchmark in his honour. Together with the community of overclockers.at I've tested the benchmark for the last week and put out some new versions, wrote a technical description and added some frequently asked questions. It's still a beta v…

  19. Hi All, So, plan here is, host all the software you had on that flashdrive that you lost and cant find. It's a one-stop-software-shop. O.S.S.S. I'm copyrighting that. If you have something to contribute, email it to Leegfhoofd, albrecht@hwbot.org and let me know, and I'll add it to this OP. FYI, some of this stuff I dont even know what it does, and it goes without saying I don't warrant any hardware death that goes along with using it. If you don't know what it does, maybe someone will help you, or let us know when you test it. All software owned by its creator blah blah. AFI (APU Fuse Interpreter) AMD …

  20. I was always under the assumption that the version history page of System Info has download links to all the old versions but recently learned that is not the case, so I went and backed up as many of them as I could. Currently this includes: Version 5.xx: 73/73 versions as of May 2024. Will be automatically scraped and uploaded to the shared link. Version 4.xx: 21/38 - missing versions predate the Steam depots and most official builds of 3DMark/PCMark so might never be complete without official help from UL or community. Version 3.xx: 4 versions, no official version history to track. Version 2.xx: nothing, does this even exist? Version…

  21. I'm trying to submit a score in 1080p X265 for a Pentium 4 1.6 (Willamette, 478), but the submission form will only file it as a Northwood. Is there a way to manually specify the CPU, or do I need to rerun it and choose the manual option when saving?

Hello everyone, Since AS SSD 2.0 is not hidden anymore, the issue that was happening before is still relevant and possible. Basically running a P5800x / P5810x on Windows 7 with Intel drivers has a very high chance 100% chance of bugging out the 4K-64 Read, which results in some unrealistic scores. You can reruns it a shit load of times, and I assure you, you will get score bigger than 40k. Edit : I misremembered. You can "bug" out the benchmark without any rerun from a coldboot, and drivers version doesn't matter. What I would like to enforce is a cleanup of Optane score used on W7 and a rule that forbid w7 and its server counterpart. Let'…

Would you consider partnering up with? I like this Benchmate software, and I was curious, why there isn't something similar for Linux users? OpenBenchmarking would bring a few more benchmarks, which both platforms, win and Linux, could share. It is not as fancy as HWBOT, but I have heard that even Intel likes Linux. Maybe if something partnership were to happen, we could ask Intel if they could develop or have something platform-independent for verification for the y-cruncher for example, or I think super-pi also runs on Linux, but I would need to read up on that one. You can check out OpenBenchmarking here: https://openbenchmarking.org/ On Linux, the paket…
