To change settings in bios is no problem, to add something is a much bigger problem. Any updates/hopes of getting a bios for the z170 ocf (ATX) that would support the 9th gen SKUs Also are the 8th gen i3s( 8350k) confirmed working on the ATX ver?

I am wondering if MOCF and OCF Bios are so different? Maybe it is easier to adjust MOCF bios to OCF than to add the Microcode/Core Selection. Still hoping someone will do it sometime. I would if I knew how to do it. Edited October 9, 2018 by flautze

NickShih
Some people have issues with USB port on this mobo after lots times benching under Ln2. Bcz the Polyfuse will break if temp lower than -40 degree. here are 3 pictures of Polyfuse locations on this mobo . You can remove the polyfuse and short both pad with tin . Then usb should work again. 7

Members GeorgeStorm
I don't think so, taichi ultimate/phantom gaming 9 are the new top boards, with the mocf still keeping pace (slightly slower on core, but better mem). (at least that's my understanding)
