So, I'm trying to get this G.SKILL Flare kit running above DDR3-2600C8 again on the gigabyte Z77X boards, but for some reason I'm getting this '51' debug code whenever I try to use the higher memory dividers. I know this kit can do DDR3-2666C8 on air cooling on M5G (click) and it's also been running DDR3-2600 on the UD5H with S4 bios (click). Just flashed the S4 bios on the UD5H board again and anything above DDR3-2200 now results in a '51' debug code. Yesterday, I ran this kit with the UD3H and got it to post over DDR3-2600 once. Saved the profile immediately afterwards and now loading the profile will result in '51' as well. Any ideas? PS: as far as I know,…

Hey guys Got the mobo and memories and started to test them, this combo seems the best for ivyBridge CPUs and Z77 Platform, the G.SKILL TridentX 2666CL11 Could do easy +3.0GHz under SingleStage -20 degrees, the Maximus V Formula is simply AWESOME and Stable board, first time i tried this board at Computex 2012 and the board was stable with 2KG Ice close the memories and cpu and VGA never shutdown never hot any problem with it. With the right CPU this combo fly over 3.0GHz memories easy even on air cooling here are some results with latest Bios 0502... check it out.... 2666 9-12-12-21 2666 9-12-11-21 2666 10-12-11-25 Extra tight timing …

Did anyone already kill an Ivy Bridge CPU? At this weekend's EOS event two died (not mine). I've been booting up at 1.92V with several chips and never saw anything close to death. So, I'm wondering: have you guys killed Ivys already? And if yes - how?

This disables the Multi-BIOS feature on Z77A-GD65, no more unwanted bios flashing under LN2. Also makes the BIOS switch actually work like a hardware switch meaning you can switch between different bioses easily.

I benched a lot with GIGABYTE UD3H and Sniper 3 in the last weeks and I keep getting a CBB between -60 and -80°C. If the system freezes the debug LED always shows 15 which is the code for memory detection. Even if I straight hit the reset button after the freeze the system does not reboot. After few seconds it just shuts down and I have to warm up to the said -80 to -60 °C. Any ideas how to solve this issue? I'm wasting a lot of LN2 with cooling down the whole pot and cpu all the time. BIOS (boot) settings: 107 BCLK 50 CPU-Multi 1:11 Memory (1177 MHz, 7-11-7-26 1T) Voltages: 1.8 vCPU 1,225 VTT 1,225 IMC 1,8 vPLL 1,815 vDIMM

2/5 tested, already a nice one. No CB, no CBB, no IMC issues ... seems like a fairly cool CPU! Batch: 3204B824 PS: also 32M stable. Easy bootup at 6.8G too ... need a bit more V'ssss

Just tested 01 with one and 2 cores on Ivy Bridge. Car low scores about 200 fps lower with one core compared with 2. Other tests are about the same. Anyone else tried this?

Hi all, The title says all...Anyone has give a try to this board on DICE/LN2/SS with Ivy? Interested because it has a relatively good price here (almost $100 cheaper than Maximus V Gene) but without knowing how good it is I prefer to not take the risk. http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=Fatal1ty%20Z77%20Professional-M Thx all.

Ivy Bridge/Z77 Overclocking Guide Ivy Bridge Overclocking is almost identical to Sandy Bridge overclocking in that it is basically a CPU which is meant to be overclocked through the multiplier and not the base clock (BCLK). Sandy Bridge overclocking brought a whole new level of simplicity to the overclocking realm, a user only needed to change a few voltages, and change some ratios and they were easily granted a huge performance increase. With Ivy Bridge things get a lot easier as the CPU overclocks a lot further with better cooling and is more optimized towards higher memory and base clock speeds, thus making ambient overclocking much simpler and easier for the averag…

Not sure what's going on, but the Saberboob I'm testing seems highly inefficient in 32M. I think I'm not doing anything wrong as LSC is enabled as well as the cache options in the bios. Anyone got any clue? Pretty sure I'm just being a retard-at-the-keyboard again.

I saw couple very good results with retail Core I7 3770K and decided try one's luck. I bought(leased) six cpu Batch L153A673 tested three two weeks ago, killed one and no managed succes, only 6490MHz max valid. After this I have to test another three cpu's but I brocken one pin in the socket lga1155 Asus Maximus V Gene. My friend RomanLV fixed it so I bought LN2 again and tested, tested, tested 3770K :yepp: First of them cpu was pretty good on AIR Mounted rig Intel Core I7 3770K ASUS Maximus V GENE Kingston DDR3 2333MHz KHX2333C9D3T1K2/4GX ASUS 7300 LE WD Velociraptor 1500HLFS Antec TPQ-1200W OC Magmun CPU LN2 pot by XtremeLabs.org and poured full cpu pot…

Looks like a dutch webshop is already selling the i5-3570K cpu. It is not a pre-order and they have them on stock (if I can believe their website ). It is only for sale in combination with a motherboard and mem kit, but the fact that they sell it.. Link: https://www.cdromland.nl/productinfo/270125/Intel/Processor_Intel_Core_i5_3570K I bought one, and already received E-mail that it is on its way to me, so I can expect the cpu tomorrow ! Gene Z77 is already waiting!

GIGABYTE Z77X-UD3H GIGABYTE 7970OC @ 1500/1600 GSKILL 2666 CL10 INTEL 3770K CORSAIR FORCE GT SSD CORSAIR AX1200 Okay we know HWBOT is not accepting MVP for now, but this technology is still very cool. Here is a tiny "first touch" of IVB and MVP just to show the power, CPU at 6000MHz as everyone should reach this frequency with cold and GPU at 1500mhz. Excuse my low single channel memory clocks, just backed everything right off as I didn't want to crash. Heaven comparison with raising GPU frequency 100MHz Here a couple of additional Vantage runs with some frequency changes you can get an idea of scaling 1625/1700 gpu …
