  4. Hey guys, so long story short, I got good old Win XP 100% working on my B550 Aorus Elite V2 and 5800X CPU. I haven't done a lot of testing yet but currently it seems like the CPU performance is a bit higher on my 24/7 Win10. I can run legacy benchmarks and GPUs on XP though. 06 CPU score seems quite good. I can't even tell if the CPU is boosting correctly since CPU-Z and HWInfo don't really display useful information. I'm gonna try setting fixed clocks in BIOS. Maybe disabling Hyperthreading would boost scores - I'm not sure if XP / 06 can even handle 16 threads properly. If you have some ideas or useful information, go for it. For example, I'm not sure if scor…

  6. To start: I believe you will need OS boot mode to be in CSM for the OS itself to work, but for the installation process, I don't remember if it needs CSM or UEFI. When you download anything to bring to your bench OS, such as tools or benchmarks, download from a daily OS to a USB, and then boot from your bench OS to take those things from the USB. Your internet will not be used on your bench OS. To make the OS: Download your ISO. You want Windows 10, 32 bit, version 1809. I've already tested a bunch of versions, anything newer or older is slower, and 64 bit is also slower. You'll want to use an ISO downloader tool like this: https://www.heidoc.net/jooml…

I don't have much yet, more posts will follow. Bios A.05O: https://drive.google.com/file/d/11b96620j1yIy-8OiQXhsFW25czHiC3PI/view?usp=sharing Should allow for vdimm >2.0 and other fun. Not sure about AGESA version, will check when I can get back to my board.

  9. I need to sort out information. I would like to ask a professional for information on boards that are currently supported

Hi to all I'd like to improve BDie oc on Cezanne, please someone can suggest voltages and timings to set? I am on air, maybe cold in future, I guess. I think it is a little bit different from intel platforms. Thank you very much in advance

  12. OS is optimized for Zen 3 mainly. You'll want to use InSpectre if you use an older Ryzen, and Geekbench 3 version 3.4.3 will score better with previous gens. Maxmem is not set by default. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TnXW4rUrS7-IzgKLt9peYFChGTJKFmDd/view?usp=sharing Go wild.

  13. Started by SparkysAdventure,

Seems Renoir might be another viable option for OC. Screens from Facebook: Not sure if 2333 is the limit, as the processor isn't even released. Also saw that it has a 4:1 mode available (5600 mem and 1400 fabric). If this chip keeps fabric clocks under cold it could really bring the heat to the 9900k/10700k for geek 3. Would like to say not my cpu and not my screen. Likely came from somewhere on chiphell.

  14. Guys there is a few bugs on the latest Beta bios 3.62 released 11/11/2020 ( Enhance AMD Ryzen 5000 CPU performance ) Bug # 1 - Cannot use more voltage for v.mem higher than 1.82v , system will go dark screen mode and freeze until clear cmos ( i need at least 1.985v. for extreme overclocking in subsero temps.) Bug # 2 - Bios won't allow IF ratio properly if memory is overclock higher than 3800Mhz it will revert back to stock settings , IF/Memory ratio is completely broken and memory won't do more than 3800Mhz due to this bug. Bug # 3 - A lot less cpu performance than other boards on the cpu when compared to other motherboards. Bug # 4 - Asrock motherboard utili…

  15. Hi Guys, Here's a link to a set of ocer BIOS for the: MSI X570 GODLIKE MSI B550 UNIFY-X MSI B550 UNIFY This one has AGESA 1.2.0.1 - said to 'fix L3 Cache Performance on Vermeer CPU'. I'm planning to test these out in the following month, but at the time of writing I haven't personally tested them yet to see what other overclocking enhancement is on them. Cheers,

  16. I am looking for a tool that is compatible with my Gigabyte Aorus Ultra X570 which, like for example "asus turbov core", can adjust the settings for clock and so on under windows. Or does that not even exist? oh well, I'm just still eion Rockie

  17. I'm looking into AMD's equivalent of RTL and IOL, which are RDL and MRL. I remember @chew* and @I.nfraR.ed mentioning these were configurable in OS on K10. I have now found evidence of two sets of memory, when training the exact same configurable timings and voltages, reporting different RDL and MRL. I have video of this property in the in the 7-zip file included in the post. I have also uploaded both videos to YouTube. Here's a better picture of what the Ripjaws were running when passing benchmarks: Running mixed sticks would report different RDL/MRL in bios, depending on what stick is where, but Zentimings reported the same. Running only …

  18. https://drive.google.com/drive/mobile/folders/1HFekj6cGZlLn2EHtbTKkTPjPWVRhjgcC Included are XOC bioses for the: B550 Tomahawk/Unify/X/Gaming Edge Wifi, B550M Mortar/Wifi, X570 Ace/Unify/Godlike It's likely that these are older bioses, probably AGESA 1100D or older. Still pretty cool that XOC bioses were made for lower end boards.

  19. Started by str8_an94baller,

Trying to find B550 ITX motherboards with clockgen for BLCK oc purposes. Can anyone suggest a model? X570 doesn't blck as well unfortunately.

  20. Hey guys, I'm still on a 2700X @ X370 Crosshair. I wanna upgrade my CPU but I don't wanna buy a new board for one generation after which they'll change the socket. I know HWBot is not strictly the place to ask for buyers advice - but it IS the place to ask for weird mod BIOS versions So, is running the new CPUs on an X370 even theoretically possible? Any chance someone can build a mod BIOS for this? My system is available for testing and I also still have my SS for some OC.

  21. Everyone Hello. I'll ask you about a title. If there is an answer by other topics already, please permit. I possess the memory by which the DRAM voltage shows the performance beyond 2.0v by the Intel environment. I'd like also to experiment on the RYZEN environment, so I'd like to change it to LN2 mode. In Intel, DMI Voltage Core PLL Voltage I adjust PLL Termination Voltage to about 1.1 and make the CPU temperature fall, and it's being used by a AIO cooling system, but please also tell whether I can adjust which part at the time of LN2 mode application by this mother and also use the CPU temperature by a AIO cooling system. Thank you.

  22. Started by KAVA26,

I've been using the newest BIOs 3004 but was wondering if there's a LN2 specific one available? I know there's a few experts on here that know all about Ryzen at sub zero temps. I'm currently working on R5 3600. Noticed there's some CB & CBB issues, with my CPU it wont boot if below -70c and system attempts to reboot if drops below -170c.. at which point I get q-code 07. I can only get my system to boot when RAM is at 3000MHz instead of rated 3600MHz. https://valid.x86.fr/4egkpq Any help or tips would be much appreciated.
