Hi My first memory container, 8ECC Cryoclamp is finally ready and up for sale. The main focus of this product is the great compatibility. You can mount this pot on single-sided, double-sided and even modules with heatspreaders - single and dual channel. Here are the first shots of the new pot. Pictures of the mounting process and mounted on modules with IHS are still missing. There are several ways how you can mount the modules and I will upload the pics at the weekend. The pot itself comes as black, blue or red edition. All heatspreaders are black anodized. Details: Material: Anodized aluminium Max. LN2 capacity: 140 ml Weight (pot): 240 g Weight …

Hi all! It is time to move on: I just wanted to do this thread, so I can inform you all about the latest changes in my pot production. My cooperation with polish overclocker ryba is over and the current products I have been selling since 2010 (SF3D OC Inflection point and Triple point) will not exist anymore in their previous form. There is still some undelivered samples, but after some time you can not buy the original ones anymore. New names and cooler designs will be out soon. There will be also completely new models, which I have not been able to produce before (GPU pot etc.), so those should be interesting choices for the users. This is very goo…

Hello Dear Overclockers! Some of you may already know - we have small overclocking community in Georgia - Overclockers.ge ( http://www.overclockers.ge ) and we are doing our part in the world of OC. I wish to share our success with you too. About two weeks ago, local university organized LGA2011 stock cooler overclocking championship final stage and I decided to show young overclockers how it's all about extreme OC. That time local frequency record was 7350 MHz, I decided to break it. First time I used Gigabyte GA-P35-DS4 motherboard and despite its pretty unpredictable nature, I managed to tame it and done 7999 MHz - http://hwbot.org/submission/2519435_ At t…

I'll release my new memory pot in about 1-2 weeks. I won't hide that I tested three other pots and thought about improving and combining designs instead of reinventing the wheel. One part of the development was a thermal simulation e.g. to check the perfect thickness of the heatspreaders, position of screws and stuff like that. I can't show the memory pot pics yet but I also did a simulation of my SLIM pot and thought the pics could be interesting I've heard a lot of trollscience about pots and stuff about how "heat spreads" but I'm pretty sure none of those guys ever did a real test. The pictures show the pot in an non insulated condition. Means not covered by…

Hi guys. A funny problem here, back when I binned 3570k I tried the best one on ln2 and reached 6,6 Ghz. I was disappointed with it and did not submit it. Now I thought about it the other day and just looked through my mail to find the link but it's too old and the mail has automatically been tossed. Is it possbile to find it again? Nickname was Calathea and used my email. Submitted somewehere around august 2012 I think, after this http://hwbot.org/submission/2299125_calathea_cpu_frequency_core_i5_3570k_5859.17_mhz

I've only been playing around a couple of weeks but have started to suss out how to tweak various settings in increments to gradually increase performance. Saturday I spent the afternoon playing with an Athlon ii x3 440. I managed to get a lot of benchmarks to run with almost 4ghz on the clock which I was quite pleased with as I don't take the voltage past the point it changes colour in the bios (about 1.437v). Anyhow I was just changing some settings as it refused to run on Pcmark05 when it shut off and wouldn't fire up. I chucked it in my old board which runs ddr2 and found that it will only run properly after I leave the bios in single channel memory mode with 1…

Hey all, wasn't sure of the best place to post this, but figured some that post in this section may have a tip or two. I'm currently trying to sell off most of my benchmarking gear and one part of it is my 150L dewar. I don't have any way to transport it at the moment (not without renting a truck+buying a dolly+finding a way to get it onto the truck), nor do I have any idea of the costs of shipping it (I bought it from I.M.O.G. and he delivered it to my house). Does anyone have any advice/tips for selling one? And an approximate valuation? (it has a good seal and is pressurized, but no extractor). I plan to list it here in the marketplace once I have an idea…

I'm just benching 4 way SLI with 780 and we have the bug that PhysX is always stuck for the first 2 seconds and then continues normally. The result is a very low score in physx with about 19k at 6 GHz where we should have 2-3k more. Does anybody know how to solve this? Funny is that at 5 GHz there is no such bug. But at 5,1 GHz it starts bugging.

Any Thai members here know the best places to buy LN2 and prices? I have a 47L Dewar just sitting here itching to be used. I have searched, emailed and phoned some companies such as Linde and Praxair but could be my lack of been able speak Thai that has got me nowhere. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello OCCers. Since MSI choose Heaven 4.0 Extreme to MOA 2013 Free Style, I would like to know if someone know the bench. I could not find even an official ranking to compare scores. Some questions how: Heaven 4.0 Extreme is heaviest than Unigine Heaven DX11? What is a good score range to a Titan or even GTX 780 (since we can not know about efficiency, if we have no comparison). And sure... Why MSI choose a benchmark that nobody ran and nobody knows? I will appreciate any help, because I really don't know about this bench. Thanks for all

KPC Ney Pro Mem Cooler How to go sub -100c A couple people have asked me why the ney pro is only good up to around -80c to -90c. So here is a guide to hit crazy cold numbers using the ney pro. First off get rid of your stock heatspreaders. It doesnt matter how "good" or "heavy" they are, (I will say the dom GT are okay) they are not optimal for benching cold. Heat them with a hot air gun or hair dryer for a minute and they will come off easy everytime. Measure from middle of slot A1 to middle of slot A2 (asrock z87 formula is 19mm)It will probably vary slightly by manufacturer. Mark this in permananent marker on the pot trying to center it best you …

Hello, I'm trying to overclock my CPU (all specs of my laptop can be found in my signature) but I'm finding it rather tricky as the computer seems to "lock" me out from accessing, reading or writing to the SMBus (for example, CPU-Z cannot tell me my RAM Specs) so SetFSB simply gives me SMBus error whatever PLL I choose. I know my PLL is ICS9LPR309AKLF, I have SetFSB 2.1.78. Can someone please shed a bit of light on my problem!!!
