  2. Guys/Girls, I now have a tick because of this benchmark. Can someone please share with me what the revolutionary frackin' secret is to getting some of the epic scores from this comp: https://hwbot.org/competition/Challenger 2019 Division I round 2/stage/4616_unigine_heaven_-_basic I've put in 4 days of trying everything you can imagine and I get the same score no matter what within 30 to 40 points. Realizing that this is a severely CPU limited benchmark I have tried: - maximum memory frequency all the way up to around 4700 Mhz and got the same score. - lowest possible timings at 12-12-12-28 CR1 with good subtiming configuration and got the same sc…

  3. RTX card not allowed at all? What about 2060,2070,2080?

  4. The submission tells me that I have chosen not to get points. Edited 3 times. Doesn't help.

  5. Can't submit saved Superposition's score."Invalid data file: Unable to parse the datafile"

  6. Can you make an exception for non-3d stages? I don't have a radeon 9100, can't find it locally. It's also too expensive on ebay and there's no time until the end of the competition.

  7. Hello guys, Ardamir here, a novice OC'er. This will be the first competition I'm taking part in, so I have a question about the rules. All is pretty clear, except this one part. "All results are the Graphics Score not the total". Clearly this concerns the 3DMark Benchmarks, since only they give a standalone graphics score, along with the others. Now everything seems fine in 3DMark11 and 3DMark (Skydiver), until you look at 3DMark06. 3DMark06 doesn't really have a Graphics Score section since it differentiates the scores in SM2.0, HDR/SM3.0 and CPU. Ok, so we're definately not submitting the CPU one, but what about the other 2? They both express graphics scores but can'…

  8. aquamark stage of comp. not working. can't submit but the file can be submitted through normal submission. https://hwbot.org/submission/4144649_ksateaaa23_aquamark_geforce_gtx_480_314889_marks/

  9. Welcome to Cheapaz Chips Season 3! (UPDATE ON RULES) This time round, the target is the AMD Cedar core, and users are expected to mod their cards to push them to the limits in the following benches: 3DM11 Entry (graphics score) Heaven Basic 3DMark Skydiver (graphics score) 3DMark 06 (Total score counts) The numbers that matter are the graphics scores (only 06 is total score), not the overall so don't worry if you don't have a beefy cpu, it's all down to the GPU. You may need to disable points for the sub so it doesn't muck up the standard rankings. The rules: Must use a single Cedar based GPU (e.g HD 5450) CPU max. c…

  11. Hi guys. Finally thanks to @GeorgeStorm my competition sees light. I hope it's not a joke on your part to put it on April 1st))))))). All invited to participate. General rules and limitations: - Only motherboards with SDR SDRAM memory. - Only air cooling allowed for all stages, but still open to members of all HWBOT leagues. - Video proof is required (for first 3 results with 3% tolerance) verification of the cooling used and ambient temperature (not below +10°C). Video must be contain 2-3 sec before finish of the benchmark and your rig for verification of used cooling with thermometer of ambient temperature. - Verification screenshot…

  12. Started by Leeghoofd,

Challengers Round 1 is almost ending, so time to look at Round 2 This will focus on 3D this time 'expect start at 1st of May. With Round 3 focussing on both 2 and 3D. Hardware and CPU limitations will remain the same. Though we have to make decisions on the GPUs now. My proposal: Division 6 & 7: legacy cards with a single GPU core up to max a GTX 580 or Radeon 6XXX series, stock coolers only Division 1 - 5: single core GPUs, but no Titans, RTX or other server GPUs, strock coolers only Pro OC: single GPU card, no cooling limits Open for inputs or thoughts

  13. 2nd round of the Low Level Clock challenge in a few divisions. All divisions are processor MHz limited ( no more temp restriction ) The used single core GPU also needs to be all the time at positive temps. For CPU monitoring use: HWinfo V6.00 or newer (OHM allowed for AMD legacy stage only) HWINFO: LINK For GPU monitoring use GPU-Z sensor tab (monitoring during the run) Competition background can be grabbed here Ensure that the maximum CPU frequency is being monitored (during the run)!!!! The GPUs need to be used at positive temps (idle and load), monitoring via GPU-Z sensor MIn GPU temp mus tbe shown in …

  14. Hello, GPUPI 3.3 was the official benchmark in Challengers ... when will we have global points for 100MB CPU, 1B CPU and 1B GPU and 32B GPU? Just checking

  16. Started by Leeghoofd,

K guys time to get crancking again after a month off To open the field to everyone I want to try out a Low Level Clock challenge in a few divisions. Meaning some divisions will be MHz limited and a few even also temp limited. I already discussed our monitoring options with some very old german moderator. For monitoring use either: HWinfo V6.00, CPUID HardwareMonitor Pro or Open Hardware Monitor Open Hardware monitor can be downloaded here: LINK CPUID Hardware Monitor Pro: LINK HWINFO: LINK Ensure that the maximum CPU frequency is being monitored and if needed the idle and load temps (during the run)!!!! . Div VII : I…

  17. hello, could we put the GPUPI 3.2/3.1? because with the 3.3 we can only run in legacy (32bits)

  18. Is the AMD Threadripper 2990WX allowed?

  19. Started by yosarianilives,

Another year and hopefully another Cheapaz Chips. Unfortuneatly AMD and Nvidia have been neglecting the low end the past year so we don't have a lot of options. So far it looks like potentially we could do RX 550 or 560, GT 1030 DDR4 edition, revisit GT 1030 (PLZ no), or do something with APUs (there's no good mobos for am4 APUs so still would benefit from mods). I've created a poll, if anyone has any other ideas for potential hardware comment below.

  20. Hello, Is Intel Xeon X5690 on P6T considered as a server and thus not allowed? I'm asking because those chips were sold for workstations ... And I'm a bit confused. Sorry.

  21. from the rules: "A full verification screenshot is required, no clipping, the taskbar and windows time need to be visible" Does this mean the windows taskbar clock?

  22. hwinfo uses decimal points for cpu speed and hw monitor doesn't. So one screenshot from hwinfo might report 5403.9 and hw monitor will report 5403. Is 5403.9 over the limit?

  23. In "Challenger 2019 Division IV round 1 4-cores only - GPUPI for CPU - 1B": The stage is buggy and does not allow you to send 3.3 results only from 3.2.
