HWBOT Development: bugs, features and suggestions

In the spirit of the multiple ongoing polls, I'd like to ask whether there should be a mandatory O.S. drop-down in every submission. Considering the strict O.S. requirements we have these days I think it would help with moderation as it's much quicker to for example look at a Fire Strike submission on Haswell without a validation link done on Win 10 and contact the submitter straight away since this combination is never allowed. Loading the screenshot every time is much slower and sometimes they are even hard to read. I was poking around the other day, and I noticed an issue where multiple submissions for the same user and same benchmark (and same CPU) would show up multiple times in the rankings. I have (at least) one instance of it myself in the Core i3 8100 Cinebench R15 scores, where both of my submissions (615 and 621) show up. I appear to be getting hardware points for both submissions (only a half a point each), where I assume it's supposed to give points only on the best result. The bigger offender that I saw was the Core i3 8100 XTU rankings, where one of the users (claudiohonio) has 14 of the top 21 results, each awarding hardware points (9.1 to 16.7 points each), and al…

Subs get points disabled, and trying to re-enable does not help, and for scores submitted during a previous competition, the system will not let you edit one example from a teammate but I have seen some others http://hwbot.org/submission/3150784 I also noticed that the same user can have multiple scores for the same bench.hardware. and get points for each ! for my teammate we recal the worst so only the best get points. but the ranking gets messed up since the others are still present. deleting is not an option since the first may get deleted, and the second best should take its place automatically. something eneds to be done in the algorythm i guess …

As hwbot is always lacking in funds and staff, I think it would be a great idea if hwbot introduced micro transactions in an EA style where we can buy a few different items with real money. This would help support the platform financially and I think as gamers love them so much overclockers would too. My suggestions are 1) buying points in different leagues (hw masters points are cheaper than actually league points) 2) buying into the next league. Say I'm a novice who has never used Ln2 but I want the cool elite status, I could just pay to more up, say a set amount per league moved up, with elite being highest price and enthusiast being the cheapest. 3) b…

The main hwbot.org site is down with the usual "the HWBOT engine is currently overloaded" which happens quite a bit when it's busy but unusually today it's stayed like that for at least 3 or 4 hrs. What's going on?

Was just thinking about this, on the old forum you could click on a link in the result discussion page and it would take you to the actual result page. Is it possible to have this added again or if this is already a thing can someone point out to me where it is as I don't see it Going to the bot and manually searching for it is a bit of a pain...

I Tested my Pentium III-S Without Problems and Errors, but when i install a fresh Stand with Fresh OS Windows XP SP3, after click on Exe file of Benchmark, im getting CPU-z general Error? My System Is: Turion 64 MT-34 + 2GB DDR400 + ABIT NF8-V + Kingston A400, by the way, when im click on cpuz_x265.exe, it launches without problems, as well 1.86 version standlalone works great?! When im Changing cpuz.ini (Set PCI=0) inside Folder of X265, Im getting no Error, but Application Shows only First Logo and no loading to main form?!

Seems there is a bug as the CPU on that particular posting show I3-8350k as a 6 core CPU in the right hand column where we normally compare scores with others on same hardware. On my I7-7740X hardware page the Geekbench scores dont show up. Meanwhile if I go to page of my own submissions and check single core or multicore submissions they are present and even with score. thus I have submitted and scores accepted. thus must be a bug

gpupi 3.0+ (3.2 actual) legacy not work with old x86 cpu (s423,478,754) that problem with hwinfo32.dll library (i think hwinfo32 not support old cpu) fix this issue or remove support hwinfo32.dll from gpupi 3.2 legacy (3.3 not yet tested but i think there will be the same problem)...version gpupi 2.3.4 legacy work fine because there is no hwinfo32.dll but hwbot no longer accepts this version

Hi, I tried to sub SP1M last weekend and it was throwing up errors - with rig pics, without rig pics: it didn't matter. Today I retried and I'm getting the same. I will be testing a thin client with a Vortex86 (SiS 550) CPU. I see it is not in the list if CPUs on this site. Is it possible to have it added? How do I go about suggesting this officially?

Now that the recalc has finished I'm wondering how I should go about getting my Road to Pro Div II Points ÷ 2 straightened out. They have been at 0 since around the begining of March. Should I go into my account and do a full recalculation, or just recalc the Submissions in question from OCESports ? Or something different all together ? Thanks Much !

It is a common issue that some benchmarks/scores go pointless (or lose points) out of nowhere. 2nd or 3rd time in a week that this happened and managed to spot it due to general ranking change. To get them fixed I needed to spot them and click recalculation to get the points back.
